healthcare for women in this country is abysmal. the rate of maternal death is the highest of all developed countries & black women die at an even higher rate. I certainly would not want to be black & pregnancy in this country & certainly not the south

Prayers for your beautiful wife and family. Urge her doctors to consider cardiac postpartum complications - it is uncommon to happen 15 months out but researchers know it is more common in women of color and up to one year postpartum. Keeping you all in my prayers.
