Remember when @romanchernin was in Dubai meeting with the UAE's AI Minister? $NBIS just signed an MoU with the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy to accelerate agentic AI adoption across 14K member companies through training, certifications, and technical support. First come the handshakes, then the partnerships, then the Data Centers. 👀 xitter.cf/arabtimesnews/status/2…
Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has signed two Memorandums of Understanding with Nebius Academy and Lovable to accelerate the adoption of Agentic AI solutions across Dubai’s private sector. The agreements support a wider programme aimed at equipping 14,000 member companies of Dubai Chamber of Commerce Business Groups and Business Councils with the skills needed to integrate Agentic AI into administrative and operational activities. The partnerships will provide specialised training, certifications, workshops, technical resources and platform access to executives, technical teams, founders and employees, while also supporting startups developing Agentic AI solutions. The initiative aims to improve productivity, operational efficiency and digital readiness, further strengthening Dubai’s position as a global hub for artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and the digital economy. Introducing Nebius Customer Atlas: mapping 302+ companies using Nebius - from Base44 and Cursor to Porsche, Revolut, Google DeepMind and Mastercard. ➡️ nebiusatlas.com I built it after finding dozens of customers Nebius had never publicly announced. So far it's surfaced 126+ undisclosed customer relationships! Base44 (Wix) uses Nebius for LLM calls. Baptist Health runs agents on AI Cloud. CAVA uses Tavily in its production agent. Orbiq moved to Token Factory after a Mistral outage. Together they reveal a super broad customer base spanning training, inference, agent search, robotics, financial services, drug discovery, and more. $NBIS has said it likely won’t do another mega-deal. That makes tracking customer growth one of the best ways to understand the business between quarterly results. If you know of any Nebius customers I've missed, I'd love to hear about them.

BREAKTHROUGH U.S.–IRAN DEAL REPORTEDLY EXPECTED THIS WEEK Sources familiar with mediation efforts told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that a breakthrough agreement between Washington and Tehran could be announced this week. Negotiators are reportedly working to narrow differences and secure mutual concessions to prevent renewed military escalation. No agreement has been officially confirmed.

$NBIS This is where capital should be spent. I am so glad they are not wasting capital on other meaningless fancy stuff. IMO, investment phase companies (with negative FCF) should be prudent and don't have the luxury to throw away cash to put logos on sports jersey.
The AI Builder Program is expanding across Europe with $10M in total support across compute grants, capital, and community programs. Are you building open models, developer tools, or applications on top of them? The program helps builders go from experimentation to scale-up through: - Compute grants for selected projects in areas such as open models, coding agents, post-training, and evals - VC connections to help turn open source projects into companies - Hackathons and demo days with communities including @AITinkerers, @techeurope_ , and @esra_robotics to build, connect, and share your work We’re kicking off the European expansion this week at #NVIDIAGTC Berlin with @NVIDIAAI, @Accel, and a network of European VCs. Building AI in Europe? Details below. 👇

Firstly, I do not promote anyone using @liquidtrading. I see it nothing more than gambling and a paid scam. However, I saw multiple posts showing stocks tanking and I wanted to better understand the mechanism. Here's some thoughts as to what happened: - Spot BTC sold off about 1% across exchanges ($81.45K to $80.8K). - Cross margined accounts were likely liquidated, with all their positions sold at once. - Thin weekend stock perp books absorbed those forced sells and wicked 5–10% . - The stocks bounced within 10 min because nothing fundamental had changed. - BTC recovered more slowly because its move was real selling. In Summary - don't use Liquid Trading...
$MU down as well. Are we getting a front run to the anniversary of black Monday?

$NBIS @romanchernin previously said that while the stock fell 40% in a week, the company had its best ever sales week, because customers realized they could run production inference economically. Here we are again and while revenue machine keeps churning....

In retrospect, Leo's piling into short-term call options again was not a good sign or thing as it set off another wave of FOMO buying.
CNBC's David Faber: Leopold Aschenbrenner's Situational Awareness hedge fund has returned to buying and bought call options "hundreds of millions of dollars worth of premium" late last week and early this week. AMD, BE, CRWV, SK Hynix, SNDK. "Call option buying of some significance" "Leo is back!"

Very excited to announce our new models: Nemotron 3.5 Super and Lightning! This also feels like a good time to share that a few months ago I joined the amazing Nemotron Pretraining team. We're cooking some very large and very strong models for you! Here is a tech summary for 3.5: * Super is a 120B total / 12B active vision language model (VLM) * Lightning is a 30B total / 3B active text-only LLM * Super scores 51.78% on SWE-bench Pro (better than Nemotron 3 Ultra despite ~4.6× fewer active params!) * arch: MoE Hybrid Mamba-Transformer designed for efficient inference, with a 1M token ctx window, and native speculative decoding (via MTP) * training is done across our GB200 and GB300 (and deployment validated across all imaginable SKUs, including consumer (RTX) and DGX Spark) A few details on how we train these: -- Pretraining * pipeline: initialize with Nemotron 3 base -> custom MTP initialization + 100B-token MTP warm-up -> 1T-token distillation from the next larger N3 teacher * Lightning then goes through a 21B token long-context (LC) stage (@ 1M ctx) * Super goes through: - Indic CPT: 100B tokens at 8K (10B Indic + 90B replay, we built a synthetic corpus with 2.83T toks across 22 Indian langs! Indic benchmarks improve by up to 9.82%) - LC extension: 35B tokens at 1M - Agentic SWE mid-training: 65.4B tokens at 256K (uses whole repos, issue-PR pairs, commit histories, etc.); DeepSWE pass@1 improves from 6.4 -> 10.4 - LC recovery: 9B tokens at 1M (as we observed regression after mid-training) -- Post-training * Super: two-stage SFT -> joint RLVR/RLHF -> specialist teachers -> two-stage MOPD -> MTP boosting * Lightning uses a lighter text-only pipeline: single-stage SFT -> RLVR * Super's SFT transforms the text-only base into a VLM using vision, agentic, reasoning, chat, safety, LC data * A few examples of RLVR environments: - Olympiad-level competitive programming - Finance agents using SEC search, document parsing, evidence retrieval, and tool use * Specialist teachers include Agentic, Reasoning, Video reasoning and tracking, Vision tool-use, Vision-reasoning, and an Alignment/RLHF teacher * Two-stage MOPD consolidates these specialist capabilities into one model * Post-training ends with MTP boosting to better align the drafter and reduce recursive train–inference mismatch; this improves Super's SPEED-Bench acceptance length by 21.8% (to 4.612 tokens) -- Inference The model is highly optimized for inference (with plenty of quantized options to choose from)! A few data points: * On a GB200, Super reaches 4,856 output toks/s/GPU with ≥50 toks/s/user on a 20-turn agentic workload * Super provides 2.34x the throughput of Qwen3.5 122B-A10B and 1.90x the throughput of Qwen3.8 Flash-Next * Native MTP is complemented by standalone parallel drafters: LiLiCorr for Super, and DFlash and DSpark for Lightning Looking forward to seeing what you do with 3.5! Phase shift for Nemotron incoming! :)) (with the usual this will be our weakest model ever, but really really so) paper: research.nvidia.com/labs/nem…

TLDR; we will probably never get another ARR number from Anthropic, which is healthy. Should force the market to move away from extreme focus on Anthropic/OpenAI ARR numbers to hyperscale growth rates, which are a much better metric for AI at this point given they capture Muse, Grok, Gemini and Open-Source. Anthropic FCF positive in Q3 and reaccelerating in October on Opus 5.5 per third party data. Roadshow in several weeks will happen after this has been widely confirmed. Unit economics much better than expected given positive FCF with 75% of their compute going to training. All per public reporting.   OpenAI continuing to grow at the same pace per Sarah Friar interview after they took share vs. Anthropic in Q3. Means the sum of Anthropic/OpenAI growth is accelerating from the Q3 pace. OpenAI probably hits FCF positive in the next few months.   Open-source growing much faster than either Anthropic or OpenAI. Modal tripled since May and is 15x YoY per yesterday’s announcement. Open-source tokens generate more revenue and profit for the hyperscalers/neoclouds than frontier tokens. *Every* open source inference cloud I am aware of is growing faster both sequentially and YoY than either Anthropic or OpenAI. And their combined compute spend is becoming material.   Third party data pointing to hyperscalers continuing to accelerate in Q3. All report in the next two weeks. Acceleration should continue in Q4 and Q1 as installed base of compute slowly reprices higher closer to spot and new capacity comes online at higher prices. Continued acceleration in hyperscalers should help address external funding concerns.   10 year yield down in a straight line over the last 24 hours.   Some risk of escalation in Iran next few days, but earnings and mid-terms probably outweigh taking an ultra long-term view and looking out 30 days.   Biggest risk imo remains cyber and OpenAI/Anthropic dominating the model layer. Fragmentation, competition and lower margins at the model layer are good for everyone else in the ecosystem and for America. Slower for longer is much better than an overbuild and an actual bubble.

RocketLab used its equity to acquire other businesses while its stock was riding high. Now Iridium will generate cash for years to come. AST didn't and it might soon be too late to try...
$RKLB has delayed Neutron 5 times spanning 3 years. March 2021: Neutron announced. First launch targeted for 2024. May 2024: First launch pushed to no earlier than mid-2025. March 2025: Target shifted to H2 2025. November 2025: Delayed to 2026, with pad arrival targeted for Q1 and launch thereafter. February 2026: After a Stage 1 tank ruptured during January qualification testing, the target moved to Q4 2026. October 14, 2026: First launch pushed to 2027. From a 2024 debut to 2027: roughly a 3-year schedule slip, with multiple revisions along the way. And we are not even sure about the 2027 launch.

Being on FinX feels like Groundhog Day. When have we seen this circus before? June and July. First came the Meta excess compute FUD. Meanwhile Microsoft quietly disclosed plans to expand its global data center capacity 3x to more than 38 GW by 2032. (yeah) Yet everybody paniced asap. KOSPI plunged while BlackRock actively stoked rate hike fears in order to drive down the takeover price for Leopold in the background. A perfect storm. A lot of voices called the AI thesis dead (yeah) Then the narrative magically flipped overnight. What a fortunate coincidence! Now it is October and the circus is back in town. We start with the exact same media confusion patterns. The Financial Times "confuses" OpenAI gross revenue of $70B with net revenue of $50B. CXMT drops an unsubstantiated claim about a memory breakthrough. Broadcom CEO Hock Tan criticizes market overreaction over short term noise and the media spins his critique into a headline about AI casino gamblers. The irony is staggering. KOSPI tumbles right on cue. This time they threw new ingredients into the pot. A secondary market bond yield gets weaponized into CoreWeave paying 15 percent interest. A slightly warm CPI print gets spun into macro terror, completely ignoring that it is strictly energy driven and cools off the second an Iran deal lands. Elon Musk runs his revenge campaign, pouring gasoline on the algorithmic fire. When misdirection reaches critical mass, investors stop checking primary sources. They enter fight or flight mode and the panic becomes self fulfilling. Factual voices showing that the AI infrastructure thesis is fully intact get drowned out. The attention economy takes over. TA gurus plug their charts and FUDsters advertise their paid services like there is no tomorrow. People lose their minds and jump at each other's throats. The joke in all of this? In a few weeks we have Q3 earnings and GTC Berlin. Every single bit of this manufactured chaos will be instantly forgotten. AI is inevitable. This should be blindingly obvious to the very people draining tokens across three different LLMs all day long just to spread their brain rot here. The thesis is completely intact. A quick look at $ASML or $TSMC earnings tells you everything you need to know.
