The entire Alabama republican delegation voted against building a bridge in Alabama. Joe Biden got the money approved. They built the bridge. Now Trump wants to name it after himself and republicans are making that a priority.

Hours before Krist Noem left her job as D.H.S. secretary, her agency bought 5 planes from a donor at a big markup, records show. They were supposed to fly deportees but have largely sat idle -- a striking symbol of gov. waste under President Trump. nytimes.com/2026/10/04/us/po…

SENATOR SLOTKIN: If you hear in the next 34 days that there is a new security threat that you’ve never heard of, that somehow requires federal law enforcement or the military and not local police, an alarm bell should go off in your brain. Do not let him get away with that.

The Cornell rapists are not "young men with bright futures who made a mistake." They are the next generation of wealthy, privileged men being taught that their money and status mean they won't have to answer for their actions.

What the hell is happening that one college campus - @Cornell - has 1,200 sexual assault cases in SIX YEARS???? THAT IS 200 SEXUAL ASSAULTS PER YEAR FOR SIX YEARS. THAT IS AN EPIDEMIC.
1,200 sexual assault cases were filed at Cornell from 2018 to 2024. Most of those found responsible received minor sanctions that allowed them to remain on campus, such as probation or training. Only 7 ended in expulsion or dismissal. usatoday.com/story/news/nati…

it's crazy when you see a photo for the first time and recognize that in 100 years historians are going to use it as shorthand to summarize the whole era you're living through right now.

I have thought more about this. It is shocking and painfully symbolic that this photograph, which could’ve been lifted from 1968 in Birmingham, Alabama, happened on our nation’s 250th anniversary. And it happened because of the open embrace of racism by the Trump administration.

This photo deserves a Pulitzer Prize. Not only does it represent our current state of politics but it mirrors many photos of past which confirm the ugly truth about progress… It must be fought for by every generation.

🚨 Here at this UPS store in California over 30 people are registered to vote. It is illegal to list a PO Box as your domicile address (which appears on the voter roll). You can receive a ballot at a PO Box, but it cannot be the domicile address—which over 30 of them are, errors and suspected fraudulent activity is everywhere in California voter rolls. Even with obvious evidence California seems to not care about their voter rolls meanwhile you do not even need an ID to vote… how much fraud do you suspect in California?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This UPS store is part of the Kensington Commons (4142 Adams Ave, San Diego, CA), a mixed-use development. The 30 registered voters are registered to homes that are also part of the complex. maps.app.goo.gl/kgfi1o2LcpUXxr… kensingtoncommons.com Mixed-use properties are very common in major cities like San Diego. jpmorgan.com/insights/real-…
