Very happy to have the new Canarm HLW installed.
(Old tank was so rotten it pretty much clapsed into itself when we removed it).
Still have to seal the bottom of the new tank, as concrete was very uneven, so shims were needed to level. Grateful for the landowners handy work 馃檪

It's International Owl Awareness Day!
Burrowing owls are tiny grassland specialists that nest in abandoned ground squirrel and badger burrows鈥攖hey don't dig their own! Endangered in #Alberta, they rely on native rangelands, making ranchers key partners in their conservation.
Alberta's only native lizard is the short-horned lizard and it's Endangered. Tiny live-born young arrive in late July. We're searching for them this August. Stay tuned! #SpeciesAtRisk #grasslands #alberta

Join us in celebrating this year's Most Valuable Planter (MVP) Award winner: @saugeenca (SVCA) Manager of Forestry and Lands Donna Lacey!
Since 1998, Donna has been involved in the planting of over 2.5 million trees throughout four counties served by the SVCA. These 2.5 million trees are now providing wildlife habitat, protecting water quality, storing carbon, reducing erosion, and improving the health of forests and communities throughout the region.
Forests Canada鈥檚 MVP Award recognizes outstanding contributions to restoring ecosystem health through tree planting initiatives and would like to thank Donna for all her great work!

I tried to let this darling go on its own, but as I waited traffic started coming from both directions, which then made it stop, so some help was required.
