NoBroker in Pakistan??? Every once in a while, my inbox throws a new country at me. Africa. The Middle East. Southeast Asia. And now Pakistan. The emails are different, but the ask is surprisingly similar: “Can you bring NoBroker here?” That’s the part I find interesting. We built NoBroker for a problem we kept seeing in India — people having to pay a broker simply to find someone who wants to rent, buy or sell a property. Turns out, the broker problem seems to have a pretty good passport. Because no matter where the email comes from, the frustration sounds familiar. And when people from markets we’ve never even entered start asking us to come there, it does make me wonder: How many other places are dealing with the exact same problem? For now, I’ll just keep checking the inbox. Curious to see which country shows up next 😀 #RealEstate #NoBroker

What does AI have to do with shifting houses? Quite a lot, actually! When we think about moving, we usually think of boxes, bubble wrap, a truck… and at least one moment of “Wait, where did we pack that?” 😄 But behind that seemingly simple process are hundreds of decisions. Is the packing up to the mark? Which partner should take the job? What’s actually inside the boxes? Why is a customer unhappy? And can we make these decisions a little smarter? That’s exactly where we’ve been bringing AI/ML into our Packers & Movers business at NoBroker.com. From computer vision that audits packaging quality and video-based inventory detection to conversational AI, intelligent partner/job assignment and NLP-based grievance intelligence, we’re trying to replace some of the guesswork with data and intelligence. Excited to share that we won the Gold Award for Best Use of AI/ML in Logistics by @EconomicTimes and it’s a great reminder that the work is moving in the right direction 😀More importantly, this one belongs to the team that keeps asking, “Can we do this better?”—and then actually goes back and tries! @NoBrokerHood @nobrokercom #Recognition #Award #PnM

When someone gets injured, the first thought is rarely just, “How long will this take to heal?” It is also - How many days of work will I miss? What will the hospital cost? What do I tell my family? For many of our field partners, being on the road is part of everyday work. And while we hope they never have to deal with a serious accident, hope alone isn't enough. That is why around 4,000 of our partners are covered under health and accident insurance. We are also spending time helping them understand that coverage, because support is useful only when someone knows it is there and knows how to access it. For me, the number 4,000 is not the important part. The important part is one partner, on one difficult day, being able to call home and say: “Don’t worry. I have some support.” That small sense of security can mean a lot when everything else suddenly feels uncertain. For every partner who keeps showing up, we want to be there when it matters most. @nobrokercom

“I just wanted to meet the team. Nothing else.” That’s honestly why I went to our Mumbai office. No big agenda. No long list of meetings. I just wanted to spend some time with the team, meet people I hadn’t met before, and hear what’s happening on the ground. But somewhere between all the conversations, I realised something. For me, it was just a visit to the office. For many of them, it meant a lot more. When someone told me that the team was genuinely happy and motivated just because I was there, it made me stop and think. We spend so much time building processes, planning initiatives and figuring out how to keep people engaged. Sometimes, maybe it can be much simpler. Just show up. Meet your people. Listen to them. Appreciate what they’re doing. That Mumbai visit reminded me that being present can mean much more than we realise. And now I’m thinking — if a few hours in Mumbai could create this feeling, I should probably be making time for our teams in our other cities too. Sometimes, you don’t need a big reason to visit your team. You just need to go. @nobrokercom #NoBroker #People #Culture

A complete stranger slapped my teammate. I was next ! Today marks the day, almost a decade ago, when a group of 50 brokers attacked NoBroker. It was not the extent of the assault, but the surprise/shock of “Is it really happening?” What seemed like a local procession in front of our office-cum-residential house quickly revealed itself to be a group of people hell-bent on beating us and breaking computers/servers. I ducked the next slap that was meant for me. When I tried to record it on my phone, it was quickly noticed by them. Our only saviour was the iron grill door through which we locked ourselves inside. Akhil and I had the look of “Ab kya karey?” on our faces. Next scene was us sitting in a police jeep going to the station, with brokers still continuing to create a ruckus at the office. We realised our complete lack of “connections,” with no IAS, IPS or politician on our speed-dial. The day somehow ended, but the circumstances ensured that we had to vacate our office overnight and display “regret” messages on our website. Through the entire ordeal, somehow, it never crossed the minds of us three founders that NoBroker was at risk. Such is the power of optimism (or should I say misplaced innocence). Somehow, we struggled, the team grew stronger together, and we tried to survive one day at a time. Today, after Rs. 1,000 crore+ of yearly revenue and after serving 4 crore customers and saving thousands of crores in brokerage, we can afford to reminisce about it as an “incident” that happened. What did it teach us? Perseverance, optimism, the power of compounding and, above all, the power of “never giving up.” #NoBroker #StartUp #India @akhil10s @Sgarg2408 @nobrokercom @NoBrokerHood

Do you believe that a simple ‘What do you think?’ can change everything?? Mukund Singhal from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur joined our Home Services team for his first corporate internship, under the guidance of Sagar Hindoriya. When we asked him what surprised him most about his time here, his answer wasn’t the work. It was how comfortable he eventually became speaking up. “When I first joined, I was actually hesitant to share my opinions. I was an intern, so I wasn’t sure how seriously my ideas would be taken. But the first time I spoke up, people listened, asked questions and genuinely encouraged me to share more. That was unexpected for me.” That confidence gradually translated into his work. During his internship, Mukund proposed three initiatives, one of which eventually moved into execution. But there was another thing he didn’t expect. “I always assumed interns rarely get to interact with the CEO. During my internship, I got to meet and speak with Amit Sir several times. As an intern, those interactions made me feel that my presence and the work I was doing actually mattered.” Perhaps that is one of the most valuable things a first internship can give someone, not just experience for a CV, but the confidence to realise that your voice can have value even when you are the newest person in the room. #NoBroker #Culture @nobrokercom

Can you guess which is the one meeting that everyone would love to attend? POTLUCK!!😄 A potluck at our Pune HS office, with everyone bringing a little something from their own kitchen — and somehow, a regular workday felt a lot less like one. Different food. Different cultures. Different stories. But the same “what did you bring?” followed by “okay, I need to try that” conversation. It’s funny how the simplest things can bring people together. #Culture #NoBroker @nobrokercom

This number sounded IMPOSSIBLE ! I had to ask my team to repeat it. 4.8 crore sq. ft. of homes cleaned. In one month. I knew our Home Services business operated at scale. But sometimes a number comes along that makes you stop and think about what it actually means. So we tried visualising it. It is roughly 640 football fields . Except, of course, nobody asked us to clean 640 empty football fields. They asked us to enter their homes. And I think that distinction matters. A home has a child playing in the next room. A kitchen somebody cooks in every day. A sofa the family sits on every evening. Things people have bought, built and cared for over years. Doing this once is a service. Doing it across 4.8 crore sq. ft. in a month, while earning that permission at thousands of individual doorsteps, is something else entirely. The number tells me how far we have scaled. The doors that opened for us tell me how much trust it took to get there. That second number can never really be measured. @nobrokercom #NoBroker #HomeServices #CustomerTrust

Every office has THEM !! The person who somehow fixes every problem! The one everyone calls when they're stuck! The teammate who'll help you first and ask questions later! Most days, they're too busy doing the work to get noticed. So every now and then, it's nice to slow down and celebrate them. Our latest celebration at our Experience Centre in Pune was exactly that. A small pause to appreciate the people behind the progress. #RnR #NoBroker #Culture #HomeInterior @nobrokercom

Launched Zivora Home Salon in Bangalore ! Home Services at NoBroker was never just about fixing what's broken. It's about making a home feel good to live in. That's Zivora Home Salon by NoBroker. An app on iOS and Android. Boots on the ground across premium societies in Namma Bengaluru. Because in this category, trust isn't built by a download link — it's built door to door. Beauty and grooming is one of the most frequent needs in any home, yet the experience is rarely consistent. We're changing that — the same way we've changed every category we've entered. More cities to follow!! @nobrokercom #NoBrokerHomeServices #ZivoraByNoBroker

People assume we had it all figured out from day one. Plot twist: we didn't even have a plan for day two. It just kept evolving. Twelve years ago, we started in Bengaluru with one simple goal—to help people rent a home without paying a broker. We weren't thinking about rental agreements, packers & movers, home services, or everything else that followed. Every time we solved one problem, we discovered another worth solving. I recently met @cnha , and somewhere in the conversation, I found myself going back to those early days—the experiments, the wrong turns, the customer conversations, and the many small decisions that quietly shaped NoBroker. What struck me most was how ordinary those moments felt back then. You only realize their significance years later. Here's the conversation. youtube.com/watch?v=Xq43f86A…

I had a very important job that day. Ride a Scooty. Our Packers & Movers team was celebrating their amazing quarter, and while there were plenty of rewards waiting to be handed out, one reward had a little more horsepower than the rest. When people invest their time, effort and energy to achieve something, the moment deserves to be more than just a prize handover. But the real highlight wasn’t the Scooty. It was seeing the pride and happiness in the room. For this one, Sales, Servicing, and Partner Management teams of our Packers & Movers vertical came together and orchestrated a quarter which seemed impossible when the targets were taken. And they didn't just get through it—they showed up, grinded it out, and turned it into one of our best quarters yet. And here's the thing nobody tells you about milestones like this: they're never won by one team. Sales brought in the enough and more customers. Servicing showed up every single day to make sure that there are no hiccups for the customers. Partner Management made sure none of it fell apart in between. Take any one of them out, and this milestone stays a slide on someone's PowerPoint forever. Turns out the best way to say "thank you" isn't a formal ceremony. It's showing up looking a little silly, for people who showed up brilliantly, every single day. And yes, the scooty was handed over to the rightful winner after I had a bit of fun with it :) @nobrokercom @NoBrokerHood #NoBrokerCulture #TeamWork
