“The kissing tree” got its name decades ago when nurses from nearby Royal Perth Hospital used to say goodbye to their sweethearts before returning to their lodgings at Kirkman House (behind it). It’s still growing strong today & opposite Perth’s new Westin Hotel. @Havenlust 🇦🇺 – at Perth, Western Australia
