“If you’re not in the arena getting your ass kicked on occasion because you were being brave I’m not interested in or open to your feedback about my work”
Brene Brown 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 – at Perth, Western Australia
While travelling along railway parade between the back of Watertown (before the Arena) something caught my eye as I was about to turn right and enter Kwinana Freeway to head South. I looked up to see many homeless living /squatting under freeway.
- we need to do better !
Pretty disappointed to be told no sorry we don’t want any items “we’re a small store” by @VinniesAust Northbridge
Isn’t it a case of being appreciative of donations & moving stock to where it’s needed?
Will find a new charity to appreciate winter coats & Zampatti jackets.
Please explain @CityofPerth
Is this a permanent move to see bins left in street / verge?
Not aesthetically suitable?
Please provide more information
Today while driving north towards the Narrows Bridge many small white feathers blew past my windscreen
Quite a sign if ever I saw one 🪽

15 innocent lives & 1 terrorist killed
Stop saying 16 dead - there’s a distinct difference here.

Because clearly as is often the case a minority spoil things for the majority.
We need to show we can learn and pivot from this or otherwise the future is similar to many big cities in the N hemisphere - lost for good. 2/2

To All Australian Politicians
14 December 25 & what occurred at Bondi needs to be a definitive moment for our Nation. This will come with a complete change to how we operate and sadly stop believing all are good. 1/2
Humanity is the human race, which includes everyone on Earth.
Until certain people fully understand this - we still have a lot of work to do.
That has to be the message for this Christmas…..and to complete 2025.

Of course Crowne Perth welcome a nearby racetrack! It’s a conflict of interest. Food/bev/ parking revenue over amenity. This is an appalling community issue that the Govt have perpetuated in stealth.
So apparently only 15% of votes in for City of Perth election. How sad…..used to be 30% return. Further proof if we needed it what labor have done to Local Government.

The King has approved the nomination of The Right Reverend and Right Honourable Dame Sarah Mullally DBE, for election by the College of Canons of Canterbury Cathedral in the place of The Right Reverend and Right Honourable Justin Portal Welby, GCVO, as Lord Archbishop of Canterbury, Primate of All England and Metropolitan.
Military rebrand by Trump to name Pentagon “Department of War” is not showing leadership …should be Department of Peace if it’s all about branding. #Trump #USA #DepartmentOfWar
$50 M towards hospital maintenance! Is that per hospital? 🤣
Two of the main elevators have been out of action in RPH all week. The place is a mess - thank God for the caring staff
The City of Perth pay 10c each for plastic bottles…wonder if they’d consider 5c each for all the cigarette butts all over the footpaths!
City could hand small packs of rubber gloves with a note seeking community support. It’d be popular & cheaper than labour hire.
In Japan a culture of kindness and respect thry do this (flower sticker on vehicle) see pic. How do you think “it would fly” in Australia? I think as an ageing population these are the little things that remind us to show tolerance and consider others from a caring perspective.
