“Ukraine was stunned to discover the Starshield restrictions, which it said caused disruptions to several combat operations. The Ukrainian military uses Starshield in part to guide its ever-growing fleets of drones, including interceptors used to down Russian drones. The restrictions, Ukrainian officials said, tied Ukraine’s hands while leaving Russia free to wage war.” nytimes.com/2026/10/14/world…
BREAKING: Trump admin lays groundwork for mass deportation of resettled refugees with new regulation.
"This regulation represents another escalation against immigrants with lawful status and these tactics lay the groundwork for the mass de-documentation and deportation of refugees. IRAP calls on USCIS to rescind the rule immediately and for Congress to exercise its authority to prevent this injustice from being carried out.”

Zelensky: It's a pity that we are losing a strong partner.
Morgan: You think you're losing America?
Zelensky: Yeah, but not because of us. We can’t be weak. Otherwise, we can’t survive… This is why it’s painful when Trump chooses to be on Russia’s side. This is not the right side of history.

Overnight, the Russians used 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 attack drones and loitering munitions against our energy and critical infrastructure in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Kharkiv. A targeted Russian ballistic missile strike specifically against energy infrastructure – the very infrastructure covered by the ceasefire announced by the American President. The strike was entirely deliberate and demonstrative in its scale – Russia has never before shown such ostentatious disrespect toward the United States. Russia does not consider the American President’s statements strong. Unfortunately, at least 600,000 people are now without power. Outages could become even more widespread. Unfortunately, there is significant damage to facilities and equipment – at 26 facilities of our power system and four facilities in the oil and gas sector. I am grateful to the repair crews, all Ukrainian energy workers, and the personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for all their efforts to address the aftermath of this Russian strike. Tragically, there have been fatalities and injuries.
We ask America and EVERYONE in the world who does not turn a blind eye to reality to respond – and to respond forcefully. Russia has squandered the opportunity for de-escalation and has clearly chosen to continue its insane war of annihilation. We ask President Trump to impose STRONG sanctions on Russia, especially since the Lindsey Graham bill, which was recently passed and signed into law, authorizes and regulates such measures. The American President has all the effective and necessary tools to bring peace closer through strength, justice, and pressure on the aggressor. We ask for additional packages of Patriot missile interceptors for Ukraine. It is entirely fair for us to tell the United States, Europe, and all our partners that no country in the world should be left alone to face such a deranged and pro-war actor as Russia. I am grateful to everyone who helps Ukraine! Peace can only come through strength, and we ask America to remember this principle of Reagan’s. Glory to Ukraine!

Kimberly Guilfoyle was preparing for her congressional hearing to become U.S. ambassador to Greece when she reached out to a Trump donor with an urgent request: She needed $100,000 that she said she owed American Express—in a way that wouldn’t leave a paper trail.
“It won’t show up anywhere if you wire money to American Express,” she wrote on Signal, according to messages reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. “Please.”

It caught everyone off guard because it’s monstrous and disgusting and dictator shit.
Hasan deserves to die, no question. The country does not need it to be a spectacle. It will be weaponized against us in myriad ways and there is no upside at all.
Pete Hegseth is a man-child.
NEW: The Pentagon’s announcement that the the execution of Nidal Hasan would be live-streamed caught people across the Army and the Pentagon off guard, who are now scrambling behind the scenes to figure out how it will work.
There are concerns about the psychological impacts on the soldiers and personnel tasked with overseeing it and carrying it out, and questions about if soldiers can say no. One source said a specific unit has already been chosen to carry out the execution, but that a live-stream raises risks about those service members being identified to the world.
