I didn’t think it was possible to feel more sickened or enraged by school shootings, and then I became a parent.
What an unimaginable nightmare.
My daughter is counting down the days until summer break. Just like those 14 innocent lives taken today. I’m just absolutely gut-wrenchingly sick over this. KIDS. LITTLE KIDS. Gone. Lives shattered forever. I just can’t believe this is where we live.
It’s hard to put into words what today has meant to me. I had the incredible honor of joining 90 Veterans, including four WWII Veterans, to our Nation’s Capital on the @honorflightcmh. Today has brought me tears, smiles and endless gratitude for these American Heroes❤️🇺🇸
