Nothing Phone (4a) Pro: the mid range that stopped playing it safe. I've spent time with this thing and the case for buying is straightforward. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻: Nothing finally moved off the transparent gimmick to a full aluminum unibody, and it's the best build they've shipped. The Glyph Matrix, 137 individually addressable mini LEDs, isn't just aesthetic filler either. It functions as a viewfinder mirror, a countdown display, a face down notification light. IP65 rated, Gorilla Glass 7i up front. This feels like a phone that costs more than it does. #NothingPhone4aPro #NothingTech #Design #Performance #Camera #Android #TechReview

People who's never been to India and doesn't understand the market should not express their opinions. Internet is cheap, accessible and widespread in India. Jio enabled fast internet access to hundreds of millions of people over a night 10 years ago.
Something feels off with this chorus of “India’s internet is great and super cheap” … the data shows that Indian market is absolutely dominated by mobile. When they say it’s cheap and well connected factually this only applies to mobile usage. This makes sense because a tower connects thousands of subs instantly after construction and running fiber is a building by building or resident by resident job. This is also why “fixed wireless” has started growing fast. Follow the incentives. It’s the cheapest and shortest route to revenue. Due to this, India is amongst the highest mobile bandwidth usage populations on the planet. 30-40GB/month. (20-50% above US/UK usage) However, home Fiber lines in India pull closer to 300GB/month. 10x gap For context, that gap in the US and UK is 20-30x. It’s pretty ubiquitous that if you have access to a lot of more bandwidth you will use it. Bandwidth abundance does not favor mobile devices. I’d argue that it’s not very hard to believe that these paltry sub 5% fixed customer penetration numbers would be much higher if a cost effective alternative existed. Is that alternative existed it wouldn’t be crazy to expect to see the fixed customer numbers jump from 6% to maybe 10%, 15% or 20%. 100M-200M customers. And if the rest of the world is any precedent that would lead to a dramatic increase in overall bandwidth used. However, that would mean that mobile bandwidth usage would likely drop or stagnate with in home mobile usage.

If we talk about India's internet revolution, we cannot ignore the role played by Reliance Jio. Jio entered the market with affordable data plans, changed the entire telecom industry, and pushed other players to become more competitive on pricing. Today, India is among the countries with the cheapest mobile data in the world. What will be the cost of the Starlink equipment? What will be the monthly subscription? Will a family living in a remote hilly village be able to afford it? India's existing telecom infrastructure supports a large ecosystem of technicians, engineers, contractors, maintenance workers, and other professionals. Thousands of people and businesses are involved in keeping these networks running. How many jobs will Starlink create in India? What investments will it make locally? How much infrastructure will it build here? Approval in one country does not automatically guarantee approval in another country within the same timeframe. India is open for business, not open for bullying. If you want access to our market, respect our rules. Simple.
Dear Prime Minister Ambani, Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India. Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete? There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better. Thank you 🙏

They hanged the wrong man in the court of public opinion. This generation is so brainwashed that it needed a face to blame, not the truth. The one who leaked the paper walked free while the man who worked day and night to fix the system is forced to resign. That's not justice, that's dirty politics by using students as shield and brainwashing them. Character assassination is easy when facts don't matter and propaganda does. We refuse to join the cjp clowns. We stand with you. History has a habit of exposing who was truly guilty. @dpradhanbjp 🙏🏼

Bottom line: if you want flagship grade design build, genuinely mid-high range gaming performance, and a camera system that overdelivers, all without flagship pricing, this is the mid ranger to beat right now. #NothingPhone4aPro #NothingTech #Design #Performance #Camera #Android #TechReview

𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮: This is the actual differentiator. The main sensor jumps to the Sony LYT-700C, a meaningful upgrade over the cheaper model, delivering noticeably cleaner images with better detail and reduced noise in low light. The 3.5x periscope telephoto with hybrid zoom up to 140x, paired with a capable ultrawide, makes for a versatile camera setup that's rare in this price segment. The selfie camera is another highlight, producing sharp, natural-looking images with excellent skin tones and dynamic range, performing on par with or even better than some more flagship smartphones in good lighting. Daylight shots are consistently impressive, while low-light performance is a noticeable step up. Slow-motion recording is one area that still needs refinement, as the quality can appear softer than the rest of the camera output. It's not flagship-perfect HDR preview and color science still has a few rough edges, but overall, it delivers one of the strongest and most well-rounded camera experiences in its price range. :)

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 is the standout at this price tier, outclassing rivals like the Galaxy A56 running Exynos. With an impressive AnTuTu score of 1,444,046, it delivers flagship-like responsiveness for everyday use. Sustained gaming and heavy multitasking don't rattle it, and Call of Duty: Mobile runs smoothly at 50–60 FPS with High graphics and Max frame rate settings. The large battery easily lasts through the day, while 50W fast charging means you're back up and running quickly without constantly reaching for the charger.
