In India, army found Starlink terminal with weapons belonging to militant groups in Manipur in December 2024. Starlink connects directly to satellites, so governments cannot block it easily India has not allowed Starlink to launch because of security concerns. India wants guarantees that Starlink coverage over its territory cannot be switched on or off from United States based on American political decisions.
