Cho's team is already applying the same pipeline beyond the colon. They've begun identifying analogous master regulators in brain cells — a direction with enormous stakes, since the brain is the one organ where conventional destruction-based therapy does the most damage to who you are.
Why this is bigger than oncology
Every field that matures goes through the same transition. First you solve problems by destruction: you kill the pest, burn the field, delete the file, fire the worker. Then, as your model of the system improves, you graduate to redirection: integrated pest management, regenerative agriculture, version control, retraining. Destruction is what you do when you don't understand the system well enough to steer it. Conversion is what becomes possible when you do.
Cancer therapy has been stuck at the destruction stage for a hundred years, not because oncologists lack imagination, but because they lacked the map. You cannot redirect a cell you cannot model. The digital twin is the map. BENEIN is the compass. And once you have those, "kill the tumor" stops being the only verb in the vocabulary.
The history of medicine suggests that once a new verb exists, someone eventually learns to conjugate it.
The patient as the hero
Here's the frame that matters for the reader walking this journey, whether as a patient, a caregiver, or simply someone watching the map of the possible get redrawn:
For a hundred years, the cancer patient has been asked to endure the cure. The bargain was explicit and brutal: we will poison you, and we will try to poison the tumor slightly more. Survival meant outlasting your own treatment. Millions did, at a cost written in neuropathy, organ damage, secondary cancers, and years of life spent recovering from being saved.
The KAIST result points — distantly, but genuinely — at a future where the bargain changes. Where treatment doesn't ask the patient to survive the cure, because the cure doesn't attack the patient at all. Where the oncologist's job shifts from demolition to guidance: from killing the cells that lost their way to showing them the way back.
Not war. Rewiring.
It is early. It may fail in translation, as most beautiful mechanisms do. But notice what just happened: the set of thinkable futures got one entry larger. And in a field where the thinkable set has been frozen for a century, that is not a small thing.
The cells changed their minds. The question now is whether medicine can change its mind about what healing means.

⭑ Abstraction
After the dot com boom, new business models emerged. In the mid-2000s and into the 2010s, the first social media platforms were founded and began drastically changing the way we interact with the web. ‘Surfing’ the web was replaced with ‘scrolling’, and the depth of the rabbit holes that one would previously wander into were flattened into feeds.
The theme of Abstraction is a double-entendre that addresses both an aesthetic trend and a technopolitical one. Creatively, the 2010s experienced a wave of artists using websites to display code-based generative artworks, which were often visually abstract. Websites became the vitrines for live, web-native generative visuals that could be experienced and displayed by anyone, anywhere in the world, with an internet connection. However, ‘abstraction’ can also refer to the abstraction of technology, the act of blackboxing and hiding away complex algorithms and processes in order to present seamless user experiences, often to the detriment of the individual. The artists working in Abstraction use the browser as a space for both visual exploration and scrutiny. We encounter the beauty of computational processes alongside a less comfortable question: how much of the technology we use every day can we actually see or understand?

The digital realm is vast and mostly uncharted
What you’ve been given so far are corporate and government extensions, designed to exploit your data and track your every move
But there is plenty of open land out there
Unclaimed
Unfenced
Not surveiled
Just grab it

Great question!
CypherDudes classifies as:
A2–A3: drawings, fonts, and the engine script all stored on-chain (Scripty/EthFS), assembled by the EVM, executed in-browser
B2: mint seed drawn from block data
C1–C2: Solidity derives traits and builds the page; the browser runs the piece
D2: per-token state — encrypted cards, progression, artefacts
E1–E2: holder actions evolve the visual
F1: symmetric encryption on-chain — asymmetry as material, not formal proof
That places CypherDudes in Class II, an on-chain stateful world, with a strong Class VI resonance. Each dude carries an encrypted message card, and writing to it advances the work: the grid literally grows in resolution as the vault is used.
Encryption is the subject and the mechanic (F1) — the mirror image of Private Ledger, where it's the formal guarantee (F5). A work sitting between classes is the taxonomy working as intended: axis values are continua, not bins.
One detail we loved: each dude is an ERC-6551 token-bound account. The dudes aren't images with traits, they're wallets that accumulate soulbound artefacts.
And the ecosystem goes further. By the project's own descriptions (couldnt find the contracts @I____felix____I for the pager or the dOS), the CypherPager (ZK-proofed encrypted messaging, soulbound to each dude) would sit at the far end of our F axis — one ecosystem spanning cryptography-as-theme to cryptography-as-guarantee.
So using v0.1 shorthand: "On-chain, holder-inscribed systems art with encryption as its material, not its guarantee."
Truly remarkable!
Corrections on any of the above welcomed.

With Cypherpagers, cypherdudes gains a peer to peer encrypted communication system.
This comes after cypherpalace where you use blockchain to store memories
Which comes after the encrypted storage system with archival capabilities within the cypherdudes.

In the early 2000s, at a time when the internet was still a very different place, @newrafael figured out something radical: a website could be an artwork, a domain name could be a title, and the internet could be a gallery open to everyone.
↓Here are 10 works from that period.

If you want to mint a CYPHERPAGER right away, find the STORE app (icon an interface vary depending on os you got). Then select one cypherdudes and hit MINT.
Note : you can mint Pagers for other dudes from any slots.

This world, D.O.S. was the missing piece for the cypherdudes project.
Nothing can stop them now, absolutely nothing can block an ethcall made from a private node to load the D.O.S.
Cypherdudes are forever free, and their privacy is real.

How it works (and why it’s accessible):
➡️ Invite-based participation: Each BYOB is organized locally. The organizer invites the artists who will “bring their own beamer.” (Some editions experimented with open sign-ups, but most kept invitations curated to manage space and power.)
➡️ Open source format: Anyone can organize a BYOB (non-commercial, credit Rozendaal), which decentralizes exhibition-making. Budget can be close to zero: a room, electricity, and projectors.
➡️ Flexible medium: Projection lets works overlap and react to each other. Artists can rearrange on the fly, creating a collaborative, improvisational environment.
➡️ Community-run: BYOB puts curatorial power into many hands, different organizers, different cities, different constellations, broadening who gets to show and see media art.
Since 2010, hundreds of BYOBs have been staged worldwide, from Berlin, Amsterdam, London, and New York to São Paulo, always guided by the same ethos: easy, fun, no stress.

Artworks rendered on computers have no material context. They're ubiquitous and can be shut down any moment.
Blockchain give them an existence beyond screen time.
Worlds within works can have a life on their own.
Visualizing them is opening a temporary portal to their universe.

Fully on-chain.
Every line of engine logic and every byte of the phosphor surface lives in Ethereum storage, assembled at read time. No server. No backend. Pull the contract and the machine rebuilds itself in your browser, forever.

Before sharing a technical breakdown;
This project will depend on events data of each game.
My scripts will interpret pass, shot, dribble, cross, penalty, yellow card, red card, saves, interceptions, fouls, headers, hand-balls alongside some other data types with start and end coordinates tied to them in p5js as gardens with common and unique details designed for each country and World Cup overall.
Expect me to drop auction tokens in following hours after each game
I acquire event data from Sportsmonks for the project. I have some other fallback sources too in case I can’t get the data as I wished from SM
Gardens of World Cup...
A Data Visualization genArt project
I will mint each game in the World Cup 2026 as a genArt token that will be fed by the event data fetched from @Sportsmonks during this world cup season.
