MAMMA MIA🙇♀️❤

Paris, 2026.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The image is AI-generated and does not depict real events in Paris in 2026 (real student protests with water cannons occurred but included no Pink Panther).

Gli Human in the loop stanno rimettendo LE MACCHINE, in the loop, siore e siori.
Well, this is awkward.
Back in March, I questioned the grand idea that AI agents could replace entire engineering teams.
Now Meta is reportedly rebuilding management layers because humans are spending too much time cleaning up after the machines.
Turns out firing the adults and leaving the interns in charge wasn’t much of a strategy…. even when the interns are artificial.
Ben Affleck, siore e siori.
Ben Affleck says AI is simply matrix multiplication, linear algebra and floating point calculations, and however convincingly it sounds like a person, it has nothing to do with thought, humanity or feeling
“Nor do I believe, and I think it’s important to draw the distinction between what AI does, which is simply predict the next token or the next word in a sentence, then add that word on, run it back to the machine, do a lot of computation and pick the next word."
"That is a very different thing than sentience or thought. And I think we need to be really clear about that because it can be convincingly, in an illusory way, sound like thought or like a person."
"But let’s be real clear. This is matrix multiplication. This is linear algebra. These are floating point calculations. It has nothing to do with thought, humanity, or feeling.”

Cosa ci aspetta con il sistema sanitario in mano ai privati
🚨 ANTHEM HAS DECIDED IT’S MY DOCTOR AGAIN
Earlier this year, @AnthemBCBS denied an MRI ordered to determine whether my CANCER HAD SPREAD, calling it “not medically necessary.”
I publicly called them out. The post went viral.
Anthem suddenly contacted me, apologized—and approved the scan.
Now they’re doing it again.
In August, I severely injured my left foot. I’ve been in acute pain ever since and am walking around Brooklyn in a giant medical boot.
After two weeks of fighting just to get access to an in-network podiatrist, I finally saw a specialist. She examined me, ordered an X-ray, saw a hairline fracture and damage around the Achilles/heel area, and ordered an MRI so she can determine exactly what I injured and how to treat it.
My podiatrist says the MRI is medically necessary and needs to happen ASAP.
Anthem denied it. “Not medically necessary.”
Let me make sure I understand this.
The specialist who actually examined my foot, reviewed my X-ray and is responsible for treating me says she needs an MRI.
Anthem — the insurance company that has to PAY for the MRI — says she doesn’t.
Apparently Anthem is my podiatrist now.
My MRI is scheduled for Tuesday, October 20 at 5 PM. Instead of simply getting the medical care my doctor ordered, I am now spending my time calling the provider, the imaging center and Anthem’s appeals department trying to persuade an insurance company to let my doctor practice medicine.
And yes, there is an appeal process.
There is always an appeal process.
Because apparently being injured isn’t enough. You also need a second job as your own insurance claims attorney.
Here is what makes me angriest:
If Anthem refuses to approve the scan, I can pay for it myself.
Millions of Americans cannot.
What happens when someone living paycheck to paycheck is told the MRI their doctor ordered isn’t “medically necessary”?
What happens when it isn’t a foot?
What happens when it’s cancer?
What happens when the patient simply gives up because they don’t have the money, time, energy or platform to fight a massive insurance company?
I have already learned what happens when you publicly embarrass Anthem.
A scan that wasn’t “medically necessary” suddenly became medically necessary.
Nothing about my condition changed.
The public attention did.
Access to healthcare should not depend on your ability to make an insurance company uncomfortable on social media.
My doctor ordered the MRI.
Anthem denied it.
The scan is Tuesday at 5 PM.
Let’s see who blinks.
And if you’ve had an insurance company deny care your doctor said you needed, tell me your story.
I have a feeling there are a lot of us.

Let this sink in—The UN has adopted a new global pandemic preparedness declaration, approving it with a vote of 153–3… however, the only countries to vote “No” were US, Israel and Argentina. Even Russia, North Korea, China, Iran, and Yemen voted with the rest of the world.

My dad is a builder and owns a kitchen showroom in Atlanta, so I’m very familiar with this industry.
For years, I’ve warned people against buying the newest “smart” appliances. My concern was always the cost of repairs. That refrigerator you can check what’s inside from the grocery store or the oven you can preheat from your phone might be convenient, but when the technology fails, you’re going to pay for it.
Never did I imagine the bigger threat would be cybersecurity, remote access, and the possibility of losing control over the appliances in our own homes.
Now hackers are reportedly manipulating refrigeration systems across hundreds of supermarkets, spoiling food and even causing fires.
Think about the implications. If someone can remotely manipulate refrigeration temperatures, what other connected systems are vulnerable? Our ovens? Thermostats? Security systems? Power infrastructure? Water supplies?
And what happens when manufacturers can remotely disable products, force software updates, or determine which features consumers can access?
We are creating a world where Americans increasingly depend on technology they don’t control, software they don’t own, and networks they cannot secure.
This isn’t just about convenience anymore. It’s about cybersecurity, property rights, consumer autonomy, and national security.
At what point do we recognize that connecting EVERYTHING to the internet creates vulnerabilities that never needed to exist?
Your ability to cook dinner, refrigerate your family’s food, or heat your home should never depend on a hacker, a corporation, or an internet connection.
Hackers raise the temperature of refrigerators and freezers at hundreds of French supermarkets to as high as 122 degrees Fahrenheit, causing fires and spoiling food. nbcnews.com/world/europe/hac…
