Today, I had the pleasure of recognizing Judge Santana as he celebrated his retirement after many years of service on the bench. I’ve known Judge Santana for a long time, and it meant a great deal to share a few personal words before presenting him with a proclamation and a Texas flag flown over the State Capitol.
The room was filled with family, friends, and colleagues who came to celebrate a remarkable career. Judge Santana has earned the respect and admiration of those who have worked alongside him, and I wish him and his family many wonderful years ahead in retirement.
