The year Chornobyl happened, while they were draining the Aral Sea and slaughtering innocent Afghans… but sure, whatever.

Someone just sent me this. The vibe is a mix of axe body spray, original green monster and ps2 racing.

As an Airbnb host, I’m honestly sad about the new rules. Starting Nov 20, guests no longer have to clean before checkout. So I’ve updated my listing: Cleaning fee: $180 Cleaner arrival fee: $40 Cleaner emotional support fee: $25 “Guest didn’t strip the beds” fee: $35 Trash disappointment fee: $20 Checkout time: 6:15am, yeah even in winters Nobody is forcing you to do chores. You’re simply choosing between chores and fees. Freedom isn’t free.
its just bonkers the new policy @airbnb is trying to put in place. Putting the dishes in the dishwasher, taking out the trash, pulling the sheets off the bed....they are just standard things any normal person would do when staying at a house. Why wouldn't a host be allowed to say that?

AirBnb owners not understanding that other AirBnb owners sunk the whole platform is mildly hilarious. No one is complaining about putting dirty dishes in a dishwasher. Everyone is complaining about the page + list of check out items on top of the 200$ cleaning fee.
It's blowing my mind how many grown adults think it's unreasonable to ask them to clean up their own dirty dishes when they rent a house with a full kitchen.

No one: Absolutely nobody: Airbnb owners: Make sure you wash the dishes, strip the beds, start the laundry, take out the trash, and dust the ceiling fan. Otherwise, that's an additional $300 fee on top of the $500 cleaning fee you paid.

I'm confused. Are Airbnb hosts angry because they now have to do the cleaning they're getting paid to do?
