This scene from the aftermath of Israel’s carpet bombing of Gaza is more devastating than any post-apocalyptic dystopian depiction of a world in ruins.

Today, I’m thinking of Dr. Amira Alasooli running to rescue an injured Palestinian man under the fire of israeli snipers. These are the women we celebrate today and every day. These are our heroes and role models. Happy International Women’s Day.

Cant believe this smug talentless liar has topped the poll. Irish voters have no empathy for the homeless and those who will never get a home of their own.
Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien says he would like to continue in his role once the next government is formed.
However he says that decision “is above my pay grade”.

Don’t be fooled by AonTú tonight.
If you have a daughter, wife, mother, sister. Remember that AonTú wants their bodies commodified by the church
A vote for AonTú is a vote for the Catholic Church back into the Dáil

My book, The Middle Ages in Computer Games, is out on 5 November. It's almost certainly the most extensive consideration of the theme to date touching on games from Age of Conan to Zork. The digital version is £20 and you can get a 35% discount with code BB35 @boydellbrewer

Many of us focus on Palestinian children—and to a lesser extent Palestinian women—but Palestinian men have been dehumanised like no other group in Palestine. They have been killed, detained, tortured, raped, and treated like terrorists. It's beyond horrifying.
