Can all publishers please remove their paywall for scientific articles related to teaching victims of trauma and displacement, thank you
CPD webinars alert! Next week, @ADerecskei will discuss strategies to help our adult students stuck in the intermediate plateau. The week after that, YL expert Angela will look at how to teach young learners 1-1 in an online setting. More info below! my.demio.com/ref/XsLPs2rXpS7…
Using Jamboards to co-mediate syllabus - nice one @melody_philip! #iELT20
Can't wait to try getting my ss to mute themselves on Zoom for a good old pron drill - thanks @MarkWordSmith! Just realised there's a whole bunch of things I need to play around with - private chat, ss taking headphones off for info gaps... disappearing txts on GDocs?! #IELT20
Having a great time at #IELT20! The format works surprisingly well. Useful groupwork, I can attend sessions inbetween my online classes and even the "garden" was fun. Only downside was having to run up and down 6 flights of stairs for Amazon delivery in the middle of a talk 😅

This is Dan.
Dan works from home, washes his hands and climbs mountains where there are no people.
Dan is smart.

#IATEFL19 hope you can make my talk on Wed 3rd, 1645 in Rm 20. I'll also be asking:
- why are 'global issues' only a 'special interest' for IATEFL?
- why doesn't IATEFL support teachers who are struggling, sacked or striking?
- what would make 'social justice' in ELT universal?
Well done @Clare2ELT for a very interesting and clear presentation at #IATEFL19 this morning - hope lots of editors were there!!

Replying to @tom_flaherty
@tom_flaherty: Move away from evidence-based education to evidence-informed classrooms. We should take what we hear/read with a pinch of salt and analyse it in the context of our own classrooms. #JJMMEIM
