After several TV interviews & 3 podcasts we can assert with confidence that @BBhuttoZardari is the only political leader , who not only has that clarity of what he aims to do for pakistan, but also courage to face hostile media and come out with a smile. #voteforPPP
One thing is clear: the democratic process around the first nine questions was compromised because there wasn’t enough public debate. The focus seemed more on safeguarding state unity than on allowing Albertans to make informed decisions. Question 2 implies that a child from a family on a work permit—who pays taxes—should not have access to Alberta’s healthcare system. What happens if the family cannot afford private insurance? Do we simply let them suffer? We often criticize Ontario and Quebec for having disproportionate political power due to their population size, yet these proposals would restrict Alberta’s ability to welcome new immigrants. How does that help Alberta’s future?
We need real debate on these issues.

سندھ حکومت کی پالیسی کی وجہ سے سندھ کئی سال سے پنجاب سے زیادہ کاٹن پیدا کر رہا ہے اور حکومت پنجاب کی گڈو گورننس کی وجہ سے پنجاب اس وقت 1968 سے کم کاٹن پیدا کر رہا ہے ۔
تصور کیجیے 2013 14 میں یعنی پیپلز پارٹی کی حکومت میں پاکستان پنجاب اور سندھ میں لا کر ایک کروڑ 45 لاکھ کاٹن بیلز پیدا کر رہے تھے
اج کل پیداوار 50 55 لاکھ کاٹن بیلز کے گرد گھوم رہی ہے ۔

افراتفری اور بم دھماکوں کے خوف کے اس عالم میں بھی جب سینکڑوں کارکن شہید اور زخمی ہو چکے تھے تو جہاں کارکنوں کو بی بی شہید کی زندگی کی فکر لاحق تھی وہاں بی بی شہید کی جانب سے کارکنوں کے ساتھ محبت اور ان کے دکھ درد میں شرکت کا عالم یہ تھا کہ کارساز بم دھماکوں سے اگلے روز جب بی بی شہید کی جان کو لاحق خطرات کے باعث حکومت نے بی بی شہید کو اپنی نقل و حرکت محدود کرنے کا کہا تو بی بی شہید تمام تر خطرات کو بالائے طاق رکھتے ہوئے اگلے روز ہی شہید کارکنوں کے اہل خانہ اور زخمی کارکنوں کی دلجوئی کے لیے نکل کھڑی ہوئیں۰ قیادت اور کارکنوں کی اس محبت کی مثال کسی اور سیاسی جماعت سے ملنا ناممکن نہیں تو مشکل ضرور ہے۔۔۔

सच क्या है?
14 अक्टूबर 2026 को सऊदी अरब के मक्का में जिन दो लोगों को मौत की सजा दी गई, वो बांग्लादेश के *नज़रुल इस्लाम अब्दुल बासिर और सिति अख्तर* थे, और वो पति-पत्नी भी नहीं थे।
बांग्लादेश मीडिया के मुताबिक नज़रुल 2022 में क्लीनर बनकर सऊदी गया था और सिति वहीं काम कर रही थी।
मई 2023 में, हज से लगभग 1 महीने पहले, दोनों को मक्का की एक मस्जिद के अंदर सऊदी सुरक्षा बलों ने कथित तौर पर अनैतिक कृत्य करते हुए पकड़ा था।
उसके बाद 3 साल से ज्यादा जेल में रहे, जेद्दा की अदालत में सुनवाई चली, और दोषी पाए जाने पर शाही आदेश के बाद 14 अक्टूबर 2026 को मक्का में फांसी दी गई। 18 अक्टूबर को शव बांग्लादेश भेजे गए।
सजा क्यों इतनी सख्त?
मक्का की हर मस्जिद का अपना एहतेराम है, वो हमारे नबी ﷺ से जुड़ी है।
सऊदी के "पब्लिक डिसेंसी लॉ" में मस्जिद में ऐसा कृत्य सख्त वर्जित है, और मक्का की मस्जिद में पवित्रता भंग करने पर मामला "ताज़ीर" के तहत बहुत गंभीर हो जाता है, जिसमें मौत तक की सजा है।
सऊदी गृह मंत्रालय के मुताबिक दोनों पर मस्जिद के अंदर "फिअल अल-फाहीशा" यानी गंभीर यौन प्रकृति का अश्लील कृत्य / व्यभिचार का आरोप सिद्ध हुआ था।
बांग्लादेश की विदेश राज्य मंत्री शामा ओबायेद इस्लाम ने खुद 17 अक्टूबर को इसकी पुष्टि की है।
तो सवाल ये नहीं कि वो कहाँ के थे, सवाल ये है - क्या आप अल्लाह के घर की पाकीज़गी का ख्याल रखेंगे या नहीं?
मस्जिद इबादत की जगह है,
बेहयाई की नहीं! जो मक्का की पाक सरज़मीन पर ऐसा करेगा, उसे सजा तो मिलेगी ही।
अफवाह फैलाना बंद कीजिए, सच को समझिए।

پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی کا واضح مؤقف ہے کہ نئے صوبوں کا قیام آئین میں درج طریقۂ کار اور جمہوری اصولوں کے مطابق ہونا چاہیے، نہ کہ زور زبردستی سے۔
اگر نئے صوبوں کا قیام واقعی ضروری ہے اور بعض خطوں میں اس پر اتفاقِ رائے بھی موجود ہے، تو پھر ان علاقوں سے آغاز کیوں نہیں کیا جاتا؟ گلگت بلتستان، جو طویل عرصے سے محرومیوں کا شکار ہے اور اپنے آئینی حقوق کا طلب گار ہے، جہاں اس حوالے سے قرارداد بھی منظور ہو چکی ہے، اس کے بعد جنوبی پنجاب اور پھر ہزارہ سے آغاز کیا جا سکتا ہے۔
لیکن ان واضح مثالوں کو نظرانداز کرکے اچانک نئے صوبوں کے قیام کے شوشے چھوڑنا یہ سوال ضرور پیدا کرتا ہے کہ آیا یہ واقعی عوامی ضرورت اور انتظامی اصلاحات کا معاملہ ہے یا اس کے پیچھے کوئی مخصوص سیاسی ہدف کارفرما ہے۔
نئے صوبے آئینی طریقۂ کار، جمہوری اتفاقِ رائے اور عوامی خواہشات کے مطابق بننے چاہییں، نہ کہ سیاسی مفادات کے تحت۔

18 اکتوبر کے شہدا جمہوریت کے ماتھے کا جھومر ہیں، وہ دختر مشرق شہید محترمہ بینظیر بھٹو کا استقبال کرنے آئے تھے اور ہمیشہ کے لیے ہمارے دلوں میں بس گئے، آج بی بی آصفہ بھٹو زرداری کے ساتھ یادگارِ شہدا پر ان کی قربانیوں کو یاد کرتے ہوئے ان خاندانوں کا دکھ بھی دل میں تھا جن کے پیارے اُس رات گھر واپس نہ لوٹے، ان کی محبت ہمارا اثاثہ اور ان کا ادھورا خواب ہماری ذمہ داری ہے، ہم اپنے شہدا کو نہیں بھولے، نہ ان کے لہو سے لکھا ہوا عہد بھولیں گے، پاکستان میں آنے والی نسلوں کے پُرامن مستقبل کے لیے ہماری جدوجہد جاری رہے گی۔

Majority of gang rape cases in the country occur in Punjab. Pakistan is not a safe country for women, and the saddest part is that no one seems to care or wants to fix this. Unfortunate that all of this is happening under the watch of a female Chief Minister. This is precisely why we need women’s empowerment from the grassroots level, not just elite women who uphold patriarchy and abuse the system just like men.
Patriarchy always gives power to women who uphold their agenda. What a sad state of affairs!

Gang-rape on the rise in Punjab. Disturbing facts revealed by @Riazhaq Punjab has accounted for 89.7 percent of all the registered rape cases across the country. Gang-rape alone makes up 62.8 percent of the total national rape-related data, but Punjab has a share of 99.2 percent of all registered gang-rape cases. In Punjab, gang-rape cases account for 69.4 percent of the total caseload and its 29,555 registered cases are 6.6 times its 4,494 cases of single-perpetrator rape.
