📍 The Knife Angel sculpture is being installed in Walsall today, ready for its unveiling tomorrow. This powerful symbol made out of 100,000 blunted knives highlights the devastating consequences of carrying knives.

Yesterday we 1) sent another large order for Dancing Barefoot off to the wholesalers. 2) Packed and posted all the individual orders which had come through our online shop. 3) Continued conversations with indie bookshops about putting on events.
Today? Coffee. 🙂

Updated my website with upcoming events. In October I've got 2 online gigs and a fair few in person gigs in Morecambe, Walsall, Albrighton, Whitchurch (poetry on demand) Bewdley, Reading, Kingswinford and Lichfield. It'd be great to see you if you can make it along to one :)

We've been helping Birmingham @ShawTrust CFO Hub celebrate #StarWarsDay this week by making some cardboard sculptures. Brilliant work on a R2D2 model shown here. More pics to follow at the end of the week!

Dancing Barefoot has been on sale for just over a week, and we've already had buyers in four different countries on two different continents. Not bad going for a small (but beautifully formed) independent publisher. 😎

On another pallet in the same delivery truck was our brand-new book, an absolute scorcher of a story by @GlynBrwn_Period. Dancing Barefoot is simply magnificent, and the cover (by @AlexVannDesign) is no slouch either. ❤️❤️

Alex seemed to read my mind in his design for this cover. Actually, the four drafts he delivered nearly blew my mind. But I'm Libran, how do you expect me to decide anything without short-circuiting?
