Hi @townofoakville can someone use a PRESTO MiWay (Mississauga Transit) monthly bus pass to board the Oakville bus?
Hi @burlontransit @cityburlington what is a "U-Pass"?
Hi @ttchelps can I use a specialty-punched "TTC Zone 3" paper transfer obtained from TTC 52 bus to board a connecting MiWay (Mississauga) or Brampton bus as long it is still valid? It does not mention Brampton Transit there. ttc.ca/Fares-and-passes/Fare…

It should say that customers who have paper transfers from other transit agencies such as Brampton Transit, MiWay and YRT are not eligible for the one-fare program discounts, and will be required to pay a full fare to board TTC. Can your teams look into updating site? @ttchelps
Hi @ttchelps thanks for update the transfers webpage to reflect 1-fare discounts but 1/2
Hi @cityburlington @BurlONTransit hi BT how are you doing? If we have 2 kids age 6 and 9 years old, and are travelling with a paying adult i.e. parent/caregiver, we use BT 1st and plan to transfer onto HSR, will my kids get free transfer on HSR or will they need to pay HSR fare?
Hi @cityoftoronto @ttchelps do you offer a "U-Pass"? What is a "U-Pass"?
Replying to @GOtransit
City of Hamilton is also inside the path of totality as well for the total solar eclipse, totality also arrives 3:18pm on Monday April 8, 2024 (if that is the right word). You can also get there by @gotransit.
In the future TTC 1-ride, 2-ride and day pass PRESTO tickets should allow a customer to give a 2-hour transfer onto other GTA transit systems as long as they started on the TTC 1st. @ttchelps @metrolinx @prestocard
Replying to @AlexScarborugh1 @TTChelps
@ttchelps @prestocard @metrolinx I would like to put forward my recommendations so that in the future, customers using a TTC PRESTO day pass after they started their journey & tap on TTC in Toronto 1st can transfer onto a Brampton, MiWay, YRT or DRT bus at no extra charge.
Hi @TTChelps why are TTC PRESTO day passes not included in Ontario's One Fare Program? This can be very frustrating for some people such as after a day trip in Toronto getting around on TTC and transferring onto to Brampton, Mississauga, York and Durham buses are losing out.
Hi @burlontransit @cityburlington how are you doing. On BT "Children 12 and under ride free when you tap your PRESTO card or are travelling with your parent or guardian" what if they are transferring onto @cityofhamilton @hsr is it fare-free under 12 or do they need to pay?
I would like to ask @citymississauga and @miwayhelps to update MiWay transfers webpage to include a PSA to remind ppl that those using cash will not be able to get a free transfer b/w MiWay and TTC and will require an additional fare.

What is TFC? xitter.cf/GOtransitLW/status/177…
Reminder: Lakeshore West service is replaced by bus this weekend. If you’re heading to the TFC game at Exhibition, use local transit, bus replacements and/or TTC. See gotransit.com for more info.

Hi @TransitThinker if someone uses PRESTO and starts their trip on the TTC 1st and taps a PRESTO card they would pay full TTC fare and then get free transfers onto MiWay and onto the Oakville bus if it is all done so within the 2-hours from 1st TTC boarding is that right?

Hi @ttchelps can your teams look into updating the Ontario's One Fare Program webpage to show that customers can get either a free or discount transfers b/w TTC, GO, York, Durham, Hamilton, Oakville Mississauga and Brampton transit systems? ttc.ca/riding-the-ttc/Update…

Hi @miwayhelps Does this also apply with Oakville Transit as well or do they need to pay a their applicable fare? If a child 6-12 boards MiWay 1st and then transfer onto Oakville bus is it free or do they need to pay? xitter.cf/MiWayHelps/status/1771…
Replying to @AlexScarborugh1
Hi Alex. Yes, children aged 6-12 can ride free with a presto card set with child fare type. Have a great day. ~MA

That's because when you scan in with your PRESTO card onto TTC 1st, a 2-hour transfer is applied automatically, which allows you to transfer onto a MiWay bus without having to pay another fare.

Hi @oakvilletransit how does a MiWay U-Pass user who started their trip in Mississauga be able to transfer onto the Oakville bus? Will they need to ask the MiWay bus driver for a printed paper transfer prior to boarding OT or can we just scan this QR code seen in the pic below?
