Seeing articles talk about Epic and what they are doing with AI as a "Case Study"... My friends that still work there don't deserve to be treated like guinea pigs or lab rats. They make one of the best games in the world, they deserve stable employment, solid income, and respect

I realized the fix and location of a very big engine issue in Fortnite Festival, while I was walking down an isle at Kohl's and looking at how the lighting above was reflecting off the floor tiles in inconsistent angles. Typing this out makes me seem crazy but it did work!

The only reason I was able to actually fix Respawn’s HCOG parallax was that I realized what the issue was while in the shower.

Couldn't agree more, my thoughts on this were really on the misdirection and distraction of the engagement from the senior level management, and that it rarely feels like true good faith community outreach. No hate on Chris or the other directors at all <3

Much of the room wants it to be 2016 again, but it's not. Our job, as the provider of tools and technology to much of the industry, is to design for the present that is and the future that will soon be. Personally I'm optimisic about it and see it as empowering for creators.
