The future of building startups:
- MVP speed (1x per month)
- AI-accelerated
- Superniche is the new niche
- Community 1st, software 2nd
- No-code 1st, some code 2nd
- 10x more automated
- Global teams, localized products
- 95% dominated by solopreneurs and microentrepreneurs (teams less than 12)
- Pop-up digital experiences (apps that only work on certain times)
- Needs the marketing holy-trinity to hit escape velocity: 1. product/market fit, 2. content/market fit and 3. community/market fit
- Team is half robots 🤖, half humans 👨🦰 (cc @youneedarobot)
- Accelerated by "boring marketing" (cc @boringmarketer)
- Multiple revenue streams
- Design matters. The bar is high
- Partnered w/ creators (creators are the distribution)
- Feels like a game (levels, status, badges, in-app currency, challenges, collectibles/items)
- Purpose-driven moonshots: societal impact matters
- Productized agencies to generate cashflow (ex design agency @DispatchDesign)
- Product studios become the norm
- 99% of MVPs won't need VC

Cool to see how different the vehicles are and the price range is anywhere between $500- $12,000 on the leaderboard.
Keep an eye on the moto category (Surron, Talaria, eRide) they are insanely popular

We're rolling out new features and improvements that developers have been asking for:
1. Our new model GPT-4 Turbo supports 128K context and has fresher knowledge than GPT-4. Its input and output tokens are respectively 3× and 2× less expensive than GPT-4. It’s available now to all developers in preview.
2. Assistants API and new tools (Retrieval, Code Interpreter) will help developers build world-class AI assistants within their own apps.
3. The platform is becoming multimodal. GPT-4 Turbo with Vision, DALL·E 3, and text-to-speech are all now available to developers.
Oh… and we’re doubling GPT-4 rate limits. openai.com/blog/new-models-a…

What a weekend it was for the Skunk Ape Night Run… all I can say is I’m inspired and motivated every single time. It’s always truly impressive and inspiring to witness everyone’s dedication in action. From the runners, the special guests, to the amazing volunteers… it was amazing. I have to much to say about it, so the full post race thoughts are on Facebook.
