What if I told you, none of these attacking opportunities ended with a shot on target.. Jaissle has to show flexibility in his tactical approach, 100% agree, but his players need to show quality too. It’s easy to say 1 shot on target, but how many chances should have ended with a shot on target? #nufc

Jaissle made some baffling decisions but it was nice to see he finally ended the MFP striker gimmick and played a proper midfielder in the 10. The main problem is our forwards, plenty of square pegs in round holes, nobody has the bollocks to take a shot unless it’s on a plate.

If the league is anti competitive, which it appears you think it is (?), what is it you're comparing to? What is the acceptable level of volume for title challenging clubs? which other leagues are matching that? The PL has 20 of the world's top 30 spending clubs. Not enough?

You have to appreciate in hindsight now how cautious Newcastle have been now, given clubs probably had wind of this. Sacked staveley because she nearly pantsed up FFP, we got a pathetic fee for ASM to avoid allegations, and intentionally avoided inflating the Sela/Noon deals.

We easily could’ve made Sela/Noon or SaudiaAir give us way more money but ended up with sub-big6 sizes deals to pass the fair value tests.
