Sending all our love and strength to Ashleigh Ball as she fights Stage IV triple-negative breast cancer. Ashleigh brought so much heart to Rainbow Dash and Applejack, and the whole SeaquestriaFest team and community are rooting for her. Keep fighting, Ashleigh.

All the people whining about the Sonic Discord (barring those who legitimately got falsely banned) is such a great example of why Sonic Twitter is not a great place to be. Like why is everyone so damn *dramatic* about it, it's been around for literally 12hrs how are ops so strong

Without these cute little ponies we'd never get to where we are today ❤️. Thanks so much to everyone who's been around since the beginning and those who still love that era of TLT!! Oh yeah! Cardiff was a blaaaaast~

I really need to stop leaving half finished unsaved scraps of text in random terminal windows on random workspaces on my pc that I forget about 2 days later and absentmindedly lose by shutting down my PC. Neovim kinda has auto-recovery but it didn't save me this time

Time for some more musicians! This time, we have some familiar faces - The musical trio of Blackened Blue, Prince Whateverer, and Bloc Pony. Chances are, you've likely heard these boys rocking the night away, and we are pleased to have them be part of our first edition🤘

Family inherited an old WinXP-era laptop from circa 2003. Spinning hard drive, 256MB RAM, all of that. I've already heard stories about how bad modern software has become but my god it really is true. This thing literally starts up in like 10 seconds.

Just want to make sure I'm reading this right: Microsoft rewrote the run dialog with performance "top-of-mind", and the best they could manage to do when putting up a single text box was 10fps?

Write better software than 99.99% of the industry with this one weird trick

I wrote it from scratch with straightforward procedural code instead of importing 10,000 libraries and gluing them together in deranged ways

Wow, had no idea Sonic the Hedgehog hated Wayland all along, who knew
probono@probonopdMar 15
Great to see a desktop environment that actively removes #Wayland dependencies. Way to go @SonicDesktop. Let's liberate our systems from all components controlled by XDG/Red Hat that have been holding back open source desktops for decades. github.com/Sonic-DE/sonic-mo…

drop wayland dependencies by metux · Pull Request #4 · Sonic-DE/sonic-mobile-interface

We're not supporting Wayland anymore, so drop all Wayland dependencies.

(This is a completely and utterly pointless act, by the way, and absolutely the wrong direction imo. But I guess that's to be expected of a project that can't even update a sentence of the README?)
