Franz Wagner said he participated in practice fully today and expects to play tomorrow. #Magic
… 🤦🏻‍♂️
I can’t stand these national journalists.

Anthony thinks Sean Sweeney's new voice gets the Magic past 45 wins. The players like being pushed.
Being a homer, he sees a world where they crack 50 if everyone stays healthy.

The Magic offense finally has a plan. Spacing, ball movement, and Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner running pick-and-rolls together instead of long isos. It looks like a modern NBA team.

Fully healthy, there's a world where the Magic make the Eastern Conference Finals. My prediction is a loss in the East semis, but that's a step forward. They still need more shooting.

The Magic bench could be the key this season. AB, Tristan da Silva, Noah Penda and Nikola Vucevic give them depth that top-heavy teams like the Heat and Cavs don't have.

AB practiced Sunday and is moving well off his right ankle sprain, Sean Sweeney said.
Franz Wagner got in light work as the Magic keep evaluating his shoulder.
Noah Penda says his partially torn hamstring is really sore and he's unsure how long he'll be out.

Top six in the East should be the standard for this Magic team. Not the ceiling, the starting point.
Sean Sweeney's offense gives reasons to believe, but health and shooting will decide how far Orlando goes.

It’s not even opening night yet …
Noah Penda suffered a partially torn right hamstring in Friday's preseason game against the Heat, per @therealBeede.
His return depends on how he responds to treatment, but he's expected to miss significant time.
A tough blow to the Magic's depth right before the games start to count.
48 wins, 6th seed in the East and the Magic will make it to the 2nd round of the Playoffs for the first time in a LONG time.
Let’s do this thing!
The preseason is in the books and the games finally count.
So let's hear it, Magic fans. What are your predictions for the 2026-27 season?

The Magic haven't been willing to go up to $22 million a year on an Anthony Black extension. Brandin Podziemski's five-year, $110 million deal, negotiated by the same agent, Bill Duffy, has framed the talks.
The extension deadline is Monday.

I have the Magic between 44-48 wins this season.
This is assuming their healthy for the majority of the season. The East is going to be extremely tough this season.
Opta's supercomputer projects the Magic for 42.5 wins and a 59.1 percent chance at the playoffs, eighth in the East. Miami, Cleveland and Atlanta are all projected just ahead, so the middle of the conference looks tight.
Do you see the Magic as a play-in team or a top-6 team in the East?

Tristan daSilva has been impressive so far in preseason.
If he can shoot it like he has been shooting it he is going to play a ton of minutes this season.
This is the Paolo we all know.
Need this efficiency from him consistently this season.
Well, that was fun!
The team looked really good, especially when the starters were playing together.
One more to go before the games matter.
Final: Magic 132, Cavaliers 116
In the first game this preseason with the regular starting five, the Magic led wire to wire and went up by as many as 31.
Paolo Banchero scored 24 on 10 of 13 shooting, Franz Wagner added 20 points and 8 assists, and Jalen Suggs hit 3 of 4 from three in his debut.
Who impressed you the most in tonight’s win?
