As a principle, I'll only enter a conversation on conflicting opinions with a person only after we have established a common understanding of human decency.
If it's not about fairness and common good, STFU.
Essentially, spending years in school with a Professor is worth less than spending lesser years learning a trade as an apprentice, further validating the apprentice model of South-Eastern Nigeria Commercial Educational.

Namor’s Tiny Wings Shouldn’t Be Able to Make Him Fly
Namor’s wings are ridiculously small compared to his body, yet somehow they’re powerful enough to carry him through the air at high speed.
They’re part of his mutant physiology, not technology, but the MCU never really explains how they generate enough lift to fly someone his size.
And the funniest part? He can maneuver through the air like those tiny ankle wings are completely normal. Marvel really looked at Namor’s feet and said, “Yep, that should be enough to fly.”
I don dey see my oga @Pellentini for TL again.
Whoever repaired this app, thank you o
LOL.
We're back here again this year.
Dear Lagosians,
We sincerely sympathize with all residents who were affected by the flash floods witnessed in parts of the State yesterday. We understand the discomfort and disruption it caused and we deeply empathize with those who were affected.
As a coastal city, Lagos is naturally vulnerable to flooding, especially during periods of heavy rainfall combined with tidal lock. Despite this, the State Government has continued to invest in drainage infrastructure, regular desilting, and enforcement of environmental laws to minimize flooding incidents and protect lives and property.
We must also provide clarity on some of the affected areas. At Kusenla, the challenge is technical: the downstream is about 1.2 meters higher than the invert of the existing drainage, as confirmed by the survey conducted for the ongoing project awarded by the State government at the end of Kusenla road which includes a pumping station. Around House on the Rock church, the flooding was linked to infractions we highlighted earlier; illegal construction on flood plains and dumping of refuse in drains. These kinds of activities worsen flooding and must stop.
We appeal for understanding and continued cooperation from the public. Keeping our environment clean, refraining from dumping refuse into drains, and avoiding construction on floodplains are vital to achieving a flood-free Lagos. In several of the videos shared yesterday, clear infractions were observed, and @followlasg will ensure that such illegal structures and obstructions are promptly removed. Including those illegal reclamations carried out without the requisite Environmental Impact Assessment Report and the Drainage Clearance.
We also wish to assure residents that the flooding was a flash flood in some parts of the State and has since receded this morning. The Ministry remains committed to strengthening our flood management systems, but this effort requires the support and responsible actions of all Lagosians.
Together, we can build a safer, cleaner, and more resilient Lagos.

In a few days, you forgot about both Maiduguri and Ozoro. And your leaders continued, business as usual.
And now, there's Jos.
Let's see what distractions they'll throw at us this time around, with the help of your favorite influencers.
