Exercise is no fun until you physically can’t do it (or much of anything). At which point it becomes the most awesome feeling if you’re ever actually able to do it again. I know because I have. And by “do it,” I mean pull yourself up to a standing position until you can stand.

After a week with my medication change, I can feel things getting better. It’s going slower than usual because I’m so deep. Didn’t know how deep I was. Probably still don’t know how deep I am. But I’m getting better. Can’t stand yet, at all, but I will. Soon. It’s coming.

Update: I should have my new prescription any minute now. It’s 40 mg of Percocet daily. No more OxyContin. My life is about to begin again. I was supposed to have it three days ago, but it just got here today. Or at least that’s what I’ve been told.

We all make stupid decisions. Some people’s stupid decisions involve taking lots of drugs. My stupid decisions have nothing to do with drugs.

Plus, for me, ER feels like less than half of IR dosage. I would happily trade each of my 20 mg OxyContins for 10 mg of Percocet. Exact same medicine, but I’d trade one for two if I knew someone willing and able. Because to make it ER requires poisoning it (metaphorically?).

I’ve had treatment for almost a year now. Still no better. If I only had 60 mg of Percocet daily (or even 40 mg) instead of 20 mg Percocet and 40 mg OxyContin, I’d be better in one day. Literally. And I mean literally. And every day after that. Proof: m.youtube.com/watch?v=gKWXpb…

The Chicago-bound train passed at night. I wonder if LA-bound train staff noticed me walking every day. Or at all. Pretty hard to miss me in places like this. Do you think you’d notice a dude walking on the road shoulder if you were to ride (or drive) a train through here?

I’ve now begged them 3 times to substitute 30 mg of Perc for the 40 mg of OxyContin I’m prescribed. I’d take 20. Because #Percocet is amazing medicine that I desperately need (with harmless acetaminophen added to it) and #OxyContin is amazing medicine WITH POISON ADDED TO IT.

When I walked past a small independent restaurant with a patio, someone asked me if I would like their leftovers. Hell yeah! Now it was time to climb that mountain and become one of few people who’ve walked from below sea level to 10,850 feet above sea level.
