The Canadian Cattle Association welcomed the Director General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (@FAODG), and a 10-member delegation to our North American Grazing Lands Congress in Calgary for the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists – joined by Senator @KristopherWells, and MPs @KodyBloisNS, @JohnBarlowMP, @MPRandyHoback, and @daveeppckl. Visits to South Porcupine Ranch, the Waldron Grazing Co-op, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, showed our story first-hand: Canadian ranchers produce some of the highest quality and lowest-emission beef in the world while stewarding grazing lands for generations. We’ll keep making that case here at home and internationally – for our producers, our environment, our competitiveness, and our food security.
