We look forward to Advancing research in Climate Change and Health within the Eastern and Southern Africa region under the #ESAHub
Climate change is already reshaping health risks across Eastern and Southern Africa. The evidence guiding the response must be locally led and grounded in the realities of the region. Ten institutions have joined a five-year ARCH research portfolio to generate evidence on climate-sensitive diseases, health systems, gender and social inclusion, health workforce capacity and climate-health financing and policy. The goal: turn African-led research into stronger primary health care and more climate-resilient health systems. Dr. Patrick Amoth: We believe that the patient knew that he was already ill and reached out to his relatives who transported him from the airport. It is potentially possible that the medication that he was taking masked some of his symptoms and gave a false positive screening

You’re not supposed to fight every battle. If you let your emotions rule and you get upset, then you’re doing it in your own strength. There’s no grace for it. But if you’ll start inquiring of the Lord, “God, what do You want me to do? God, I need Your wisdom, Your strength, Your power.” When you show your dependency on God, He knows you’re relying on Him, then He’ll help you fight those battles. He’ll empower you to defeat giants, to break addictions, to overcome what should have stopped you.

God is saying, “Throw that net out one more time.” Start believing again, start dreaming again, start taking steps of faith. You don’t know what God is about to do. The reason it hasn’t happened yet is because it’s bigger than you think.

Philippians 4 says, “Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice.” What’s significant is that Paul wrote this from a prison cell, where he was chained and awaiting trial. If anyone knew about bad moments, if anyone had the right to be bitter and upset, it would be Paul. But he knew the secret to fulfilling his purpose.
