Veronica Fusaro from Switzerland has shared that #Eurovision stated “if it’s not plugged in” it can be played live. So attaching a mic to a violin is allowed but plugging in a guitar is not.
Veronica says she is happy for Linda but finds the EBU rules weird, “it’s a loophole.”
Linda Lampenius from Finland has been granted special permission to play the violin live at #Eurovision next week.
It’ll be the first time a fully live instrument has been used on the Eurovision stage since the 90’s.
