“Newsquest newsrooms are staggering from one set of redundancies to the next with legitimate questions arising around the safety of heaping ever-increasing workloads and stress on remaining staff,” says @NUJofficial as further redundancies announced.

Every cut in editorial staff reduces the quality and saleability of the product, cutting future sales and advertising revenue -- and profits. A ridiculous and short sighted approach -- that also serves to keep public less informed.
