You are standing on a weak wicket .
You spent an entire thread arguing about whether the voter submitted 2 forms or 4 forms.
That is not the point.
The point is that the same person ended up with **four different EPICs**.
Whether he applied twice or four times, your system issued multiple voter ID cards to one individual. That is a failure of basic deduplication, something the Election Commission has been promising to fix for years.
Calling it a “long-standing problem” while lecturing a fact-checker- @zoo_bear - about “creating disaffection” against a Constitutional body is remarkable.
If multiple EPICs for the same person is an old issue, why is it still happening in 2026 during a special intensive revision?
And why is the official response focused on tone-policing the messenger instead of explaining how four cards were generated and whether they have now been cancelled?
Transparency would be posting the application reference numbers yourself and confirming the status of those four EPICs.
Not advising citizens to delete posts that show a clear anomaly.

If you want to dispute our facts then you post the reference numbers of two applications that you claim he had submitted and we will post the reference number of the remaining two.
The problem of generation of multiple EPICs on submission of multiple forms of an individual is a long standing one. We do deduplication through ECINET periodically. We are on path to achieving the objective of catching multiple forms submitted by an individual at the submission stage only. We will achieve our objective very soon.
Please do not incite people by making patently false statements about ECI and thereby trying to create disaffection among the citizens towards a Constitutional Body.
You are advised to rectify your mistake by amending or deleting your post after completing your own due diligence now that you have been informed by us about your wrong information.

Ankit, Sumit, Karan, Aakash Kumar, Rajkumar Singh, Vikas Singh were not on Draft roll. All have two EPIC ids each in final Roll. (one of Vikas's two cards even says
'female') 😁
Only @ceoup will be able to say how many form6 each of them submitted? We found only one application each. Many form 9s are yet to be uploaded on their website.
Note : In this booth, 17 people got 2 IDs each. That is, 34 of its 69 new
names in final Roll.

Hello @ceoup, Here's one more example: A man's voter EPIC ID (As per draft roll) became a woman's voter ID in the final roll. Not just that, The same woman Rusha Devi got two more Voter IDs in her name. So Rusha Devi has 3 Voter idea after SIR final roll was published.
Summary : One man disappeared from the list and one woman appeared three times in Final SIR list.

The SIR exercise in Uttar Pradesh was completed and the final electoral rolls were published in April 2026. Yet duplicate entries remain unresolved. Wasn’t eliminating duplicate entries one of the central objectives of this entire exercise?
Also, do you understand sarcasm? “Buy one, get one free” was precisely that.
In your own tweet, you acknowledge issuing four voter ID cards with different EPIC numbers to one person. How did four applications in the same person’s name pass scrutiny and result in four separate voter IDs?
Submitting four Form6 applications is wrong. Accepting and processing those duplicate requests exposes an even bigger failure in verification. What is the point of SIR if your system cannot detect repeated applications from the same person? If someone applies for fresh enrolment ten times, will @ECISVEEP issue ten different voter IDs?
Further, according to the Form 9 records uploaded on your own UP CEO website, Mr. Sundar submitted Form 6 on January 6 and again on January 14. We have the data for that booth. These are your own official records. This data was uploaded on your own UP CEO website. Also Please upload all Form9s on your website. Many are still missing. Instead of threatening us, Please put more efforts on fixing the failures instead of threatening citizens who expose them.
