Might also overthink and say the current Lecturer's strike in Kenya if not addressed soon will see University student's join in
If it keeps going at this rate, we might, for (I think) the first time in history, be about to witness the first continent-wide youth revolt in Europe - a "European spring" of sorts. The sheer number of countries where it's **already** happening is pretty overwhelming. I count 8, including 4 with violent clashes: - France, famously - Albania (see below) with daily clashes in Tirana and a government building set alight - Belgium: the French movement spilled over, including riots in Liège - Italy: "No Meloni Day" student protests since 16 October, turning into riots in Milan, Turin and Bologna - Greece: students camping in Athens' Syntagma Square over housing and education costs, explicitly inspired by France - Germany: pupils blockading schools in Berlin and Hamburg in solidarity with France - Spain: an indefinite education strike in Madrid, with students marching alongside teachers and families - Serbia: the student movement born from the 2024 Novi Sad station collapse is now running its own list in the 25 October election And, by the way, the fact it's also happening in countries with close to no immigration - like Albania - goes to show how reductive it is to label these movements, like JD Vance and Trump did with France, as the fruit of "the migrants hav[ing] taken over." As is often the case, it's much more a story of "it's the economy, stupid." As such, Trump with his war on Iran, has ironically done much more to fuel this (pun intended) than any migrant.

Oginga was never a communist Prior being a politician,Oginga was a successful businessman and even used part of his Money to sponsor Jomo Jomo even told Oginga he was better as a businessperson compared to a politico The only true communist/socialist was Bildad Kaggia
Unfortunately, Oginga & co. would have taken us through the pernicious tentacles of communism & majimboism. If we went back in time and had to choose between the two, it’s definitely the capitalist, more western leaning Yung Jomo.

Bishop Margaret Wanjiru felt the work of this commission to be non consequential for her desire to be a Nairobi politico and yet if we're a serious county ,the work of this commission if steered well should be enough to show someone capability to run the capital city
A multi-agency team has commenced works at Nairobi Dam, marking a key milestone in efforts to restore the dam&strengthen flood preparedness. The ongoing emergency spillway works will help mitigate flood risks while paving the way for the broader Nairobi Dam restoration programme

A commission that reclaim grabbed land in riparian areas, upgrade Nairobi's storm water and sewerage facilities as well as now rehabilitating Nairobi Dam is a serious entity that should give one consideration for the running of Nairobi County

In 2022 WSR said he's a student of Kibaki and will use Kibaki menu to rescue Kenya's economic fortune Today at handing over of Mausoleum in Bondo, he argued that he's a student of Raila desire to have infrastructure built in every corner of the corner

So for the few rhetorics made by politicians it seems 1. Moi remains to be Kenya "master politician" 2.Kibaki -Kenya's Economic Guy 3. Raila -Kenya's" Infrastructure master" Kenyatta 1 and Kenyatta 2 would be great to know where they should be placed in their mastery of Kenya

"The side with the more legible story often beats the side with the better spreadsheet" Something that WSR needs to take note because this was also the foundation of hustler politics in 2022 If Sifuna/Kalonzo gets their story right,no one will care of him convincing Dangote

In 2022 he promised Economic transformation especially for the "Hustler's" Hence this is his hardest test, since the economic premises is what brought him into power in 2022 "A narrative however sweet cannot outrun results indefinitely "

Maybe this is caused by a rant if what's happening in Latin America with the failure of Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina and now likely Brazil But politics in Latin America resembles a cycle of Right Wings Vs Socialists replacing one another in every election cycle

What worries me is the lack of introspection by Socialists on why they're failing, same way as democrats Also it's worrying that Communism/Socialist is no longer producing Young leaders at the rate we're witnessing with Right Wing populists and nationalists
