The revolt in France (+Albania & Spain) is the possible beginning of a global reaction to rising costs of living, escalated by the tactics of logistical systems disruption at the straits of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab, a direct continuation of the War of October 7.

3 years to the Gaza Ghetto Uprising, the day that changed everything.
After painstakingly blurring resistance logos and classical colonial paintings (..) youtube is finally letting me publish this lengthy video essay. Watch it while you still can, and stick around for the final section, "Lessons from the Resistance" ➡️ youtu.be/Pt_1k7nSv1M

the sanctions against austici/inventati (noblogs.org etc) represents another opportunity for the international anarchist movement and the palestine solidarity movement to support one another, as they are being attacked by the same orders and decrees.

Current Israeli doctrine in Gaza is textbook "Clear-Hold-Build" counterinsurgency: ethnically cleanse the natives, form local auxiliaries to hold territory alongside the invading army, use them to try to provide basic services and build (semi-)permanent occupation structures.
This Haaretz "investigation" is a whitewashing operation trying to establish a narrative that the militias operating in the IDF-controlled parts of Gaza were not formed by Israel, but are rather tribal groups ("chamulot") that happen to be opposed to Hamas. This is prep for [1/2]

They're trying to tell you that a genocide isn't and hasn't been happening. Don't let them. -- This is an incredible and important resource that got way less attention than it deserves:
📢 🧵- All fifteen parts of our documentary "Genocide in Gaza" are also available to watch on The Internet Archive (@internetarchive) in Full HD. We start this thread for you to find a link to each episode and a trailer summarizing its content. 👇

another Sabra and Shatila-style massacre, where israel gets to pretend that it was the savage natives who committed the mass murder (in 1982 it was "the Falangists," a euphemism for israel-backed fascist Christian militias).

Are Palestinian resistance factions seeking to translate their military successes and sacrifices to electoral power? How/why the hell is Dahlan part of the coalition? Will US-Israel-the PA even allow Palestinian elections to happen? A short thread.🧵

Gulf wealth and the comprador Arab states. Joining forces with Dahlan as a longtime Abbas-rival is a tricky, pragmatic wager for the resistance factions. There's no way Israeli politicians will allow the elections to happen under the Oslo framework, which stipulates East

Jerusalem ballots and West Bank-Gaza coordination. But if, as in 2021, Abbas cancels the elections again under this excuse, he grants increased legitimacy for alternative administrative initiatives seeking to replace the ossified PLO.

the duress passcode does not delete the phone. it is not the same as remotely destroying data. it forgets how to decrypt itself, leaving the data technically in-tact but impossible to access. these details will matter if this ever goes to trial.
First known US case: American charged for using a “duress” password Samuel Tunick, an Atlanta resident, is being prosecuted for allegedly giving border agents a passcode that wiped his phone. The feature comes from GrapheneOS, a privacy-focused Android OS. Entering the duress code triggers a full factory reset. This is believed to be the first time federal prosecutors have brought such charges. The incident happened in January 2025 at Atlanta airport. Agents demanded access to his phone without a warrant, saying he hadn’t yet officially entered the US. When they entered the code, the phone wiped itself. Tunick has pleaded not guilty. His lawyers argue the seizure was unlawful and that agents were investigating his activism against “Cop City.” The case raises big questions about digital rights at the US border. What do you think? focus less on litigating your 5% difference and more on putting together your 95% alignment towards an achievable goal. the genocide is raging, the world is on fire, repression is rising -- let's keep our eyes on the prize

Fergie’s donations are the reason we have a bakery that feeds thousands of people per month. His funds also helped provide meals, water and medication for displaced Palestinians. Now he’s being persecuted for this. Advocate for Fergies release now!
Pro-Palestine activist and funder Fergie Chambers was detained by Spanish police on Friday as the Trump administration attempts to extradite him to the US on federal charges with a potential sentence of 30 years in prison, including “international money laundering… with the intent to provide material support to and resources to foreign terrorist organizations," according to a sealed indictment reviewed by The Grayzone (@TheGrayzoneNews). ■ "The sealed indictment offers no evidence that Chambers has donated any money to 'foreign terrorist organizations.' It merely states 'Chambers made numerous transfers of funds from banks in the US to banks in Tunisia,' where he relocated in late 2023," according to The Grayzone. ■ Chambers was denied bail in an Ibiza court on Saturday and is expected to appeal for bail on Thursday. ■ This is the first time an individual has faced extradition to the US from Spain for supporting the Palestinian liberation struggle, and marks a major escalation in US repression of anti-imperialist and anti-Zionist movements.

palestinian liberation would fundamentally alter the global balance of forces, leading to new revolutions throughout west asia and northern africa (and maybe elsewhere). discussing this question should probably center this fact if we believe mass uprisings can change the world.

COL. Douglas Macgregor: "The Ottomans, the Romanovs, the Hapsburgs...they had all collectively ruled for somewhere between 300 and 800 years. And they ceased to exist overnight. That could happen in Western Europe. It could happen here in the United States."

Influential Neocon Robert Kagan (on May 10!): US suffered in Iran the most crushing defeat in its history. And: Control of Hormuz is more powerful than nuclear arms, and will be a basis for establishing deterrence in Lebanon, Gaza, and elsewhere.

The Trump admin lost in Iran so now its surging against anti-ICE organizers in MN, pro-Palestine activists in MI, Stop Cop City defendants, the people protesting in solidarity with hunger striking migrants in a New Jersey concentration camp, a Black voter org in Ohio.
