"The Paradox of Focus:
Make the most of one opportunity and more opportunities will come your way.
Moving boldly in one direction causes more paths to unfold before you.
To get more, focus on less."

Well I lost my dad this year and now won't be spending Xmas with family, but otherwise it's all good.
This really surprised me, but having meetings happen over Teams/Zoom etc has completely cured my fear of speaking in them. Anyone else?
Do you remember when you joined Twitter? I do! #MyTwitterAnniversary

Fellow ADHD people: COVID shipping delays are very very real. If you’re hoping to get an order in time to have it shipped for Christmas, I’d strongly recommend getting it in by this weekend, whether that is with me or with somebody else!

Do you want to be part of a UK study about how wearable technology can help those with ADHD?

Another great, and relatable, analogy!

This is more important than many people realise. Language is never the (whole) problem. Focusing on it distracts from the real issues.

Interesting if true - definitely relate!
All children learn better when moving - that is how human beings are designed. Dopamine - the neurotransmitter that enables concentration is produced when we move - and that’s why those with ADHD need to move & fidget; to help them learn....

Many ADHD'ers respond exceptionally well to crisis. Crisis provides constant stimulation, motivating us towards action
In the absence of a crisis, however, ADHD'ers can struggle. Sometimes... we even self-sabotage to create a crisis in order to find motivation
So it's gonna be a lockdown birthday.
Woohoo! Kind of takes the pressure off planning anything, plus was tested to a lovely 'last hurrah' at one of our fave restaurants last night. 🎂
I may have just made my first (actually functional) Gantt chart. This feels like a watershed moment. 😂 📈 #AdultingwithADHD

Young girls are told that women can be anything we want to be except be older and look it. We need to either change our ageist society or stop lying to children. #GenderedAgeism #ActingYourAgeCampaign
Working memory is my main challenge too and it is probably one of the most disabling aspects of ADHD at work.

Just bundled my little furball into a basket and he has now been taken to the vet. He HATED it and I now feel like a monster. 🥺😫😢
This is another reason I could never have kids. The emotional wrench at seeing them in any kind of distress would kill me.
