Maybe. But are you actually going to do it?
Then maintain it? Fix the bugs? Spend your Sunday figuring out why it stopped working?
AI lowers the barrier to building. It doesn’t magically give everyone the motivation to build it or the desire to maintain it.
People paid for iTunes while free torrents existed. Turns out “someone else makes this easy for me” is a pretty durable business model.
I’d wager 9 out of 10 people threatening to replace their subscriptions will never get around to it.
There’s room for cheaper software, custom software, and businesses that charge to handle the headaches.
What if… and I know this sounds crazy… everyone wins?
