👏 The newly improved Action Button component is a game-changer for screen flows. Trigger screen actions, retrieve data, and see results on the same screen—all with one click. Learn more about this and other Flow updates here: sforce.co/4dEAoBE

With the new Flow Action Button, does it count towards flow governor limits every time it is clicked? (e.g. for me it would trigger a sub flow to get records).

#Flow: Can someone confirm/deny that Flows execute the latest version of a subflow (instead of: use the active(!) version for the subflow) ideas.salesforce.com/s/idea/…

Yep - this is a known documentation gap. We are in the middle of getting it updated. For subflows in screen flows, the latest version is run, not the active version. We are looking to address this behavior difference as part of a versioned change in the Summer '24 release.

'VE FINALLY CAUGHT MY WHITE WHALE!! I've been pining for a way to launch a Flow in a Quick Action modal overlay from a List View or Related List in a clean, robust way and finally figured it out: jankforce-dev-ed.develop.my.…

Oh I really hope they can roll this technique I show in the video into the product, that's be slick. Either way I'm sure whatever is planned for this won't let me down

We've been coordinating with our Platform Actions team to make sure this is on their radar! Don't worry, it is.

Checking out the #Flow Reactive Screen component sessions right now with @AdamWhiteSF and @samreynard... it looks so good to see this being used in practice. #Flownatic #Flow #TDX #TrailblazerDX #Salesforce

Little things like this need tidying up, it's just not great to see this released into the wild with obvious UX issues. Fields inside sections in a @salesforce flow, not in line! I wish the focus was on making the functionality that's there 100% instead of adding more features.

Hey Chris - are those Text Inputs or Record Fields from Dynamic Forms for Flow? Really sorry you're having this poor UX experience!

Sorry, Text Inputs and the Lookup component (or lookup from Dynamic forms)

Unfortunate, I know. Unlike custom Data Table components, the standard flow component gets its data from the Flow engine. When you add a field to a Data Table, we use the available data from the record collection which only includes data from that object.

We will need to enhance the engine to be able to grab related record data, but to do that, we'll have to make big changes to our 'Get Records' logic and a number of other areas... no small feat, but it's something that I very much want to do

Always learning ! @SalesforceAdmns @asksalesforce I've just discovered Embedded Flows and Embedded Service Deployments : great stuff ! I have a flow with components with dynamic visibility. They do not display in an Embedded Flow. Is this a known limitation or issue ?

Embedded Service Deployments are actually different and something of a not-well-known feature. Allows you to embed a Flow (or chatbot, etc) in an external website. I've done some poking at it, it definitely appears to be a different runtime, but haven't found documentation on it

Their component does some interesting things - they use their own wrapper around our flow component but it still uses our aura-based runtime. They have not moved to our new LWC-based runtime yet.

Same for me; I just discovered this yesterday. Always learning !

Embedded Services flows should support conditional visibility - I would reach out to support

🤩 #Flownatics, we heard you and have three (yes, three!) highly anticipated #IdeaExchange Flow features available in Winter ’23. Which one gets you fired up the most? #SalesforceLive

Hey @RyanAtTGH did you see my post about the flow getting put up on the AppExchange?

Woah, @elonmusk, are you seriously looking into buying @salesforce?!

Dont even joke about that
Thank you for having me @leeanndroid and @SalesforceAdmns ! Screen flows are so rewarding - if you feel like your Salesforce skill set is stalling and haven't tried building them, you won't regret it.

Following @AdamWhiteSF's comment on voting for the Rich-Text Component to be added as an input to Screen Flow ... I did publish an idea on this a little while back! #salesforcelive #Salesforce #Flow ideas.salesforce.com/s/idea/…

But some orgs have strict security requirements and can’t use unofficial sf. On the bright side, I would think that the code is already written so you could just copy and paste from unofficial sf, and make it official 🤓🧐🤨

I wish it were as easy as copying/pasting code!

Indeed. Perhaps someone could create a managed package version of it
