👏 The newly improved Action Button component is a game-changer for screen flows. Trigger screen actions, retrieve data, and see results on the same screen—all with one click. Learn more about this and other Flow updates here: sforce.co/4dEAoBE

Yep - this is a known documentation gap. We are in the middle of getting it updated. For subflows in screen flows, the latest version is run, not the active version. We are looking to address this behavior difference as part of a versioned change in the Summer '24 release.

We've been coordinating with our Platform Actions team to make sure this is on their radar! Don't worry, it is.

Sorry, Text Inputs and the Lookup component (or lookup from Dynamic forms)

Hey Chris - are those Text Inputs or Record Fields from Dynamic Forms for Flow? Really sorry you're having this poor UX experience!

We will need to enhance the engine to be able to grab related record data, but to do that, we'll have to make big changes to our 'Get Records' logic and a number of other areas... no small feat, but it's something that I very much want to do

Unfortunate, I know. Unlike custom Data Table components, the standard flow component gets its data from the Flow engine. When you add a field to a Data Table, we use the available data from the record collection which only includes data from that object.

Their component does some interesting things - they use their own wrapper around our flow component but it still uses our aura-based runtime. They have not moved to our new LWC-based runtime yet.

Embedded Services flows should support conditional visibility - I would reach out to support

Hey @ryansays did you see my post about the flow getting put up on the AppExchange?

Thank you for having me @leeanndroid and @SalesforceAdmns ! Screen flows are so rewarding - if you feel like your Salesforce skill set is stalling and haven't tried building them, you won't regret it.

I wish it were as easy as copying/pasting code!

Indeed. Perhaps someone could create a managed package version of it
