I know what's wrong with your script without even reading it. You're trying to write something that "works". Instead of asking, does this work, ask: Is this innovative? Will actors kill for the role? Is it culturally valuable? Is this uniquely me? AI has derivative covered :)

Some people love to punch down on emerging screenwriters, but honestly I think if you're having a great time doing this, you're already winning. Not all art needs to be an all or nothing capitalist venture. A lot of us are here for the journey itself.
