Dear @Mark_J_Harper There is only one "blanket 20mph limit" local authority in the whole of the UK and its in the City of Westminster covering all their roads, including the 'A' road outside Houses of Parliament. Put there by Conservatives to protect MP and government staff.

We were saddened by the release of the DfT casualty data today, which confirmed that 29,742 people were killed or seriously injured in crashes on Britain’s roads in 2022 alone.
We must address this public health issue immediately.

⚠️ @emmadesaram tells @SkyNewsBreak our criminal government are telling lies — new oil and gas kills.

Here's what I don't get.
All Labour has to do is say they'll shut down on their first day in office all new oil and gas projects that were greenlit between 1 August 2023 and the GE, and no firm will touch the available licences with a barge pole.
It's really that simple.

Anyone interested in the actual facts VS claims the new oil and gas licences will bring UK energy prices down? This is quite the humdinger. Well done @Channel4News

There we have it folks. @RishiSunak just sacrificed our children and grandchildren on the altar of fossil fuel capitalism.
Hundreds of new oil and gas licenses in a #ClimateEmergency
This isn't leadership.
This is madness.

Paris is working to become a '15-minute city' where everything you need is located locally within 15 mins. Every street will have a bike lane, 60,000 parking spots are being removed & replaced with parks. They aren't done yet.
We have the solutions implement them.

Since the PM appears to be opposing alternatives to cars cars cars (+vans and lorries), this what Mr Johnson said in 2021 (Gear Change, One Year on) about LTNs, schools streets and cycle lanes.
It may be useful in the "culture war".
