Totally agree- I’m not saying we would be great but this guy has costed us too many games to still have a job- I get it he didn’t pick the players but certainly could and should be able to make obvious baseball decisions n what is 0 for 90 when trailing 🤬

Poppa, how quickly we fell off a cliff, reminds me of the 2025 Mets - winning looking like tittle contenders- then one day-poof- just like the Mets I don’t see fire, passion, and anger. This team like the Mets looks soft, unmotivated, and to willing to smile then get fired up.

My bigger question is that if everyone agrees that both should return- except sterns, then why is he here- last season alone killed all the mojo that this club had gained with his bizarre philosophy and plan with last season moves that were his moves.

I think these are just a small sample of reasons why going forward I’m worried about this team n organization- to keep Mendy and for stern not to say in his presser that he plans to hire a GM to bring another perspective to the organization is troubling and not optimistic

Absolutely-but mark there are at least 24 games this season where the Mets were leading after 5 innings or had runners in scoring position in the 9th or later with less than two outs and lost all these games- I blame sterns for his bullheaded thinking and Mendy for his inability

These are just some of the concerns about coaches and Mendy going forward- even the simplest of things seem to be a disaster n have been since mid June- just unacceptable unbelievable and any other un u want to use but I hope regardless of how this plays out it will dealt with 😩

Mendoza has set Helsley up 2 fail by continuing 2 put him n high leverage situations time after time-Instead of building his confidence up,Mendoza has created a bigger problem n as spot on of manger he was last season.This season he continues 2 create more problems than solutions

This team, this season has had an incredible ability in punching their fans in the neck while simultaneously giving us a wed-gee - so hard to believe

Mendoza alone has cost this team 5 wins - easy- I know he is only the manager, but thus is just ridiculous 🤬
