No parent should watch their child lose the ability to walk from a disease we can prevent. No child should pay the price for a missed vaccination.
For decades, @Rotary has stood at the forefront of the fight to end polio. From our cities to our most remote villages, we must keep going until every child is protected.
Today on this #WorldPolioDay, let us unite for a polio-free world.
One child. One vaccine. One promise.

ENTRUSTED. It was such an absolute honor being a panelist at the book launch of one of Uganda's finest leaders @kasi_fabian His book underscores that a transformational leader does not see themselves as the Owner of the institution, but as its steward for a season.
“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” — John Quincy Adams

ALT A child receives an oral polio vaccine from a healthcare worker. The image includes logos for Rotary International and the End Polio Now campaign. Text reads: "No child should be paralyzed by polio. Until all children are protected, the fight isn't over." Additional banners say "Team End Polio" and "Join us on Strava. Be part of the movement. I smiled when I opened today’s @DailyMonitor and saw this headline: “Crazy things that happen when you join Rotary.”
Crazy Perhaps. Because @Rotary has a way of changing what you believe, who you meet and how you see service.
Behind all the myths is something simple, ordinary people, coming together to do extraordinary good.
Worth a read.

GM Kampala Water - Eng. Mahmood Lutaaya, will be live on UBC TV tomorrow to discuss the *KW supply status and service delivery amidst the ongoing heat wave.*
As he shares updates on the current water supply situation and Kampala Water’s efforts to maintain reliable service.

✨*Do you know why Ribbons are used for Cancer Awareness and do you know them?
Ribbons are used for cancer awareness because they are a simple, powerful, and universal symbol that help people show support, spark conversations, and mobilize action. Lets meet in Kololo!
Three projects. Three different needs. One Rotary spirit. My 14th Official Club Visit took me through stories of service that moved me.
From the Royal Blood Drive, where 1,589 units of blood were collected to save lives, to Mukono’s mental health initiative reaching more than 1,800 students, and @RCKulambiro2021 is creating spaces for children to read, learn and dream, service was everywhere.
I then joined Rotarians to celebrate the installation of the 6th President Eddie Rush.
To the new leadership. take the baton, raise the bar and leave your club, your communities and Rotary better than you found them. The time to serve boldly is now.
12 DAYS TO GO! 🏃🏾♀️
Don't miss out #CancerRunUg26 is almost here.
30 Aug 2026 | 6AM | Kololo & major towns across UG.
Run. Walk. Show up. Make an impact. 🎗️
