When I post I love to get feedback that can improve my thinking. For example Colin Little (Man Utd striker coach) sent me a voice message emphasising the importance of the ‘Goalscorer recognising how the ball is going to arrive at you’ …..

I studied top players & how they ‘outwit’ opponents on & off the ball, in & out of possession
These ‘capabilities - Positioning - awareness - body movement - deception - timing - techniques can be observed as a check list to analyse ‘what players need to develop next’ 🧵

What a few days it’s been working with @PaulMcG8 on part of my ATEK coaching summer camp - The Art of Attacking
To share ideas and deliver alongside Paul was simply amazing… his knowledge and passion for development is up there with the world’s best.
Really enjoyed @tafclambs v @OfficalBAFC yesterday in the opening game of the season - 2 teams looking to play football - 2 great sets of management - 2 teams competitive but respectful - officials challenged but respected - Great advert for local football
Tavy edging it 2-0
A 1:1 session truly comes alive when you focus on the playground that a player will be immersed in on Game Day - context is and will always be King … 📈 ⚽️ 🔥
Owen Dale is looking sharper than ever …
Drilling into the ‘process’ helps to return more consistent ‘outcomes’
Knowledge is power 🧠 ⚽️ 📈
@PLsportsnews 🤝
Owen Dale putting a shift in during pre season … wherever he goes, his new club is going to get an upgrade in player … … he’s looking so sharp and has added so much new knowledge to his game …
Two young players - in the off season - developing their craft
Plymouth Argyle’s Tegan Finn
Sheffield United’s Harry McGlinchey
Pre season doesn’t just have to be about running
It can also include movements and actions that can happen on game day too

Mick Buxton ex-Sunderland
Huddersfield T. & Scunthorpe mgr was PL Academy monitor, I loved to talk football with Mick gaining so much from his wisdom - so I was filled with pride when he said “If you changed the shirts I’d still know it was your team playing”, it made me think 🧵
Bim Pepple continuing to develop his game in the off season … @PLsportsnews ⚽️
Finishing off both feet with variation is what all top strikers practice … more of Bim Pepple sharpening his tools in the off season
@PLsportsnews ⚽️📈🔥
Great to get some pitch time with Owen Dale … new layers added … time to ramp
up his numbers for next season … process over outcome 📈 ⚽️
It’s the off season and Bim Pepple has already started his development
Adding those little details to refine his game is what will make him better and better ….
