Could not be more proud of this team and of this work. Glad they were able to bring it across the finish line! This is so good for all New Yorkers. @NYCHealthSystem

My granddaughter Noelle won't remember anything about this time. I am sure her Grandpa and Uncle will explain to her how amazing this @nyknicks team is but Gigi Anne will tell her how one team lifted the spirits of an entire city. #NYKNICKS #NBAChampions #GrandmaLife

This should be a great event!

Thank you for your service Commissioner. 🙏🏾
From crossing the border as a child to serving as NYC’s Commissioner of Immigrant Affairs, this journey has meant more than I can put into words.
Today I shared a statement on my transition from @NYCImmigrants
Grateful for the opportunity to serve. Full statement below:
Wishing this long time public servant and dedicated leader all the best in the future. Commissioner Park, this job is not easy but you did it everyday with tenacity and grace. We were blessed to have you at the helm. Thank you for your service.

NYC has been placed under an Enhanced Code Blue.
No one will be turned away from the cold. During Enhanced Code Blue, the City has activated 30+ warming sites, over 50 NYC hospitals, as well as DHS drop-in centers, and DHS shelters to operate with a full open-door policy so every New Yorker has a safe, warm place to go. 🧥❄️
Extreme cold is dangerous and can be life-threatening. Prolonged exposure can lead to hypothermia and frostbite in a short period of time, especially overnight and in high winds. No one should remain outdoors in these conditions. ⚠️

If you see a vulnerable person at risk in the cold, call 311. Call 911 for life safety emergencies.

So glad we found a way forward here. Many of us are proud of our work on the Just Home project because it is not only innovative but also inclusive of populations who are traditionally underserved. Thank you @NYCMayor
Congratulations Helen. I am so happy for you and the city. You will be great in this role.
Welcome to A New Era, Dr. Helen Arteaga, Julia Kerson and Emmy Liss!
Dr. Helen Arteaga joins as Deputy Mayor of Health and Human Services. She's served as CEO of NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst since 2021 and co-founded Plaza del Sol Family Health Center. She'll lead with humanity and grit — strengthening and expanding access to care and social services for all New Yorkers.
Julia Kerson joins as Deputy Mayor of Operations. She helped lead the rollout of congestion pricing, advance multi-billion-dollar transportation and housing initiatives, and deliver the Hudson Tunnel Program — the largest infrastructure project in the country. She'll oversee city operations and infrastructure to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, for working New Yorkers.
Emmy Liss joins as Executive Director of the Office of Child Care. She's an experienced public sector leader who previously served as COO for NYC's early childhood education program, helping build a system that now serves nearly 100,000 children. She'll focus on building a high-quality, accessible early childhood education system for all New York families.
Thank you Mayor & DM Fabien for documenting this important moment in NYC history. There are so many parts of this story that are still untold. We certainly were not perfect, but many public servants (in & out of government) worked hard to help folks on their path to better lives.
We are very fortunate to have these two dedicated doctors and public servants continue to serve NYC.

Honored to join @ZohranForNY’s transition team as a Co-Chair — and thrilled to see voters say YES to housing!
New Yorkers want a city where everyone can find a home and a future. Time to turn that mandate into momentum. 🗽

Could not think of better way to spend Election Day (after voting, of course) than centering on the work in a conversation with @grahamwindham CEO Kym Hardy Watson at the Graham Studio: Conversations podcast. Look out for the full episode coming soon. #LeadershipMatters
Happy 95th Birthday to my beloved Mom, Ms. Edna. If you know me, you know how important she is to me and our family. I am so grateful to have this time to pour more love and care into her during these precious years. #LovingMs.Edna #CaretakersMatter #GrandmothersTogether 👵🏽 👵🏽

formerly incarcerated homeless people with medical conditions. Folks who without good care can fall back into despair. Seeing people’s humanity and leading with your principles is not easy but it is required of public servants.
I guess this is the start of a brand new love story for @taylorswift13 and Gigi Anne #NewBeginnings #LoveStory #Grandbaby 👵🏽❤️
Greatly appreciate this Dream Team who lead the work of the city to support thousands of new arrivals during the humanitarian crisis. Celebrating the people and the work. #PublicService
