I was an intern under Seb in 2020. Unfortunately, the allegations of unscrupulous behavior is 100% believable. I am glad that the mask is off publicly. I really hope he doesn't weasel out of this.

A series of false and inflammatory allegations against me are currently circulating on social channels. To clarify, I came into the discussion following academic norms, and I'm disappointed that it has come to this. Anyone who knows me knows that academic standards are of the highest importance to me. Will have more to say tomorrow.
>math professor spends a year on one of the hardest unsolved problems in math
>"Navier-Stokes"
>his drafts for the whole project went through codex sessions
>openai had his logs in codex
>suddenly rumor leaks AI solved it
>he emails openai to ask what's going on
>openai calls within days
>"funny story, our model also solved it"
>using his exact approach
>asks openai: did you train on my sessions?
>no answer

Gemini Flash 3.5 has that je ne sais quoi again. I can't tell what it is but Google has done something with this model that lets it just dial in and say, seemingly, the exact right thing. It's precise in a way that no other model is right now.

We have faced a 100x increase in Arattai traffic in 3 days (new sign-ups went vertical from 3K/day to 350K/day). We are adding infrastructure on an emergency basis for another potential 100x peak surge. That is how exponentials work.
As we add a lot more infrastructure, we are also fine tuning and updating the code to fix issues as they arise. We have all-hands-on-deck working flat out.
As a matter of fact, we had planned on a big release by November, with a lot of the features you expect, a huge capacity addition and a marketing push. And then it suddenly went vertical!
We have a lot more planned for Arattai, please give us some time. Thank you for your patience and support! Jai Hind 🙏

It sucks that Twitter will bury this important result because she included a link, and users will get served some dumb meme instead. Please, please stop deprioritizing links. Everyone wants it.
Despite the stress and less time for oneself, marriage and motherhood are linked to greater female flourishing:
1) More meaning and purpose
2) Greater happiness
3) More physical affection
4) Less loneliness
Overall, a more enjoyable life.

Imagine when you will be able to combine Genie with Gemini. it’ll internally create a world model when you ask it something by imagining scenarios in its head.
No more issues with spatial intelligence, anatomy, etc. Complete understanding of 3D spaces and physical common sense

We can now train AI inside the mind of another AI. 🤯
🌍 Our world model, Genie 3, imagines and generates new worlds on the fly.
🤖 Our embodied agent, Sima, is dropped in and learns to navigate them autonomously.
The entire loop—from the environment to the action—is generated by AI.
This is just the first step, soon we will have world simulators for training general embodied intelligence.
