I think this is mostly Gray trying to define himself and fend off a primary in 2028. He won the primary this year with just 25.4% of the vote in an insanely fractured field. He's from the Freedom Caucus wing, which got utterly decimated in WY this year, and he's unpopular.
Republican Chuck Gray in #WYAL (Trump+46 in 2024) is out with what appears to be his first general election ad. "Families here are getting squeezed groceries, gas, power bills. Chuck is focused on affordability. ... Chuck's only priority will be the people of Wyoming."

yes, but no third parties for gov, so it’ll be unlikely that both people miss 50%

The thing is that I'm not opposed to some form of civility or bipartisanship in Congress, but the versions of those things that people like Manchin are in favor of are so divorced from actual results and material reality that they're useless.
News: Former Sen. Joe Manchin will campaign with GOP Sen. Susan Collins this week in Maine Manchin said his visit is motivated by the attacks on Collins for voting too often in support of President Donald Trump: He said his trip is dedicated to “debunking” the idea that she’s been an enabler for Trump:“She is not a Trump senator" Expect a lot of talk about their bipartisan work together on covid $, infrastructure and Electoral Count Act Collins: "We need more people in the Senate, not fewer, who are willing to put partisanship aside, listen to one another, and deliver results" semafor.com/article/10/19/20…

GA-Gov reminds me a lot of 2022 AZ-Gov when Hobbs was trailing in every poll to Lake and everything was saying she was a terrible candidate and doomed and then she just won lol

More billionaire taxation is an inevitability. Anyone left who thinks the politics of this are "offending the business community will make us look like socialists!" is misreading this as much as the GOP's 2012 "make sure you thank 'Job Creators'" pitch in a recession.
CNN: GOP operatives conducting a focus group in a traditionally red Midwestern state this month were taken aback by what they heard from their own party’s voters. Asked what they blamed for rising gas prices, those voters pointed to “corrupt politicians” and “billionaires” — a response that surprised some longtime strategists who’ve never seen government corruption emerge as a top issue for so many Republican voters in congressional races. cnn.com/2026/10/18/politics/…

No moderate should vote for the home grown radical who believes that the 2020 election was stolen and is planning his actions accordingly.
MIKE ROGERS: "I don't want to go to bed at 2 a.m. a winner and wake up at 4 a.m. a loser. I'm kind of done with that... Let's put retired or off-duty police officers as our poll watchers in Detroit. Because, go ahead, try to intimidate them, please." #MISen

You can feel the way that you feel but we have two choices: - Keisha Lance Bottoms, who has presented solid ideas, including an amazing plan to protect and expand voter rights in Georgia. - Rick Jackson, who changes for whatever seat of power he can occupy, or sitting on the couch, which is a vote for Rick Jackson. I choose to vote for and support Keisha. At the end of the day you got to make binary choices. I'm not saying this as some Democratic robot because I voted for Jason Esteves in the primary, but Keisha Lance Bottoms is the person that's going to advocate for what I want and for what I believe. I'm doing everything I can to put her in that governor's mansion

Bottoms was a horrid mayor! Why do people want her for governor??? I do not get it at all - not a Jackson fan but cannot vote for her, she will destroy Georgia

NC feels more elastic (in part bcs Cooper has been around for so long in the state) so I’d say Cooper? but not by that much

This is a myth. Black turnout strength in Georgia peaked in 2012 and hasn’t been matched since. The reason the state flipped in 2020 was shifts among college educated whites and Black middle class in-migration to outer ring Atlanta suburbs, not mobilization of existing voters.

It's easy to laugh off articles like this, but Warnock made a great point about how investing in states like Mississippi builds up infrastructure for future Dems. It happened to Georgia!

and even if KLB is governor, he shouldn’t run for re-election at the same time it would guarantee him a job in the event of his defeat, but if he wins, there’s going to be a special election.

I suppose it’s probably good for him if he loses the primary, but it’s a bit irrelevant if we’re assuming that 1) Jackson wins and 2) Warnock wins the general

sure, but the problem is if Republicans win GA-Gov I think Warnock will have to forgo running for re-election to the Senate anyways, if he becomes nominee

suppose warnock could just withdraw from running for reelection, which is a similar gambit

when you say you're "unconfirmable" -- is it because you're a prancing little shit, or is it because you're a pedophile

lets check some of those group chats you and your coworkers are in, hmm? i'm sure it's a bastion of honor and decency
As a young conservative staffer, I’ve always thought of progressive staffers as honorable opponents in the war of ideas, messaging, and political strategy. I’m learning they do not think of us the same way.
