The Global Alliance for Patient Access is proud to congratulate @Neil_Betteridge on receiving the 2026 Carol Nachman Medal, one of the most prestigious awards in rheumatology. Presented in Wiesbaden and introduced by laudatory remarks from Prof. Désirée van der Heijde, the award recognizes Neil's more than 25 years at the intersection of patient experience and health policy. From his tenure at Arthritis Care UK and @eular_org to advising the UK government on patient access and disability policy, Neil has never allowed patient experience to be decorative. He has made it structural. That commitment is exactly what drives his leadership at GAfPA and @globalremission. Patient-centered care is not a symbolic value.
