Here are the best plays/puck touches from Thomas Boisvert’s (#71 Black) QMJHL Debut last night, where he picked up his first goal along with 2 primary helpers👇
Thomas Boisvert had 3 points (1 goal, 2 primary assists) in his QMJHL Debut tonight; a 6-3 loss vs Blainville-Boisbriand.
I’ll have a video out tomorrow of his best plays from tonight’s game. A very promising debut from the #1 overall pick.
Last year’s 1st overall selection Thomas Boisvert has his first goal in his first QMJHL game vs Blainville-Boisbriand.
I thought he had a strong first period. 3rd overall pick Jacob McKinnon has also scored in this game, now with 6 on the year.
After not being invited to Development Camp over the summer, Nova Scotia native Max Brien has been named to Canada White for the upcoming World U17 Challenge.
8 points in his first 9 games for the Rimouski Océanic.

Still not convinced. I need to see more.

I had a lot of fun watching the Q Cup this year.
I’ll have my personal all-star team out tomorrow and to no one’s surprise, Jaxon Mood will be on it. He’s my tournament MVP as well.
Really blew me away this weekend.

New Brunswick wins the 2027 Atlantic QMJHL Cup 7-6 in an instant classic championship tilt over Nova Scotia.
What an incredible hockey game.
Jaxon Steeves gives New Brunswick the lead late with his 2nd of the game, pouncing on a turnover and catching Mombourquette off guard.
7-6 with 5 minutes remaining.
This top line from New Brunswick is single handedly keeping them in this game. Jaxon Steeves beats out the icing before Dominic Cormier finds Kaleb Leblanc finishes it off for his 2nd of the game.
We’re all tied up at 6.
Parker Douglas gives Nova Scotia the lead off a perfect shot off the rush. The kids a shooter.
6-5 Nova Scotia in the Gold Medal Game.
Maddox Burke drives the net and bangs home the rebound to tie things up at 5 early in the third period.
Nova Scotia will simply not go away.
New Brunswick’s youngest forward has given them the lead as 2012-born Jacob Van Horssen pulls off a dandy of a move on the breakaway.
What a time for his first of the tournament. New Brunswick up 5-4.
