Conclusion:
@standupmaths @bechillcomedian It would take approximately 72.68 years of continuous crying to fill the river Kuokanjoki, assuming all tears make it into the river (ignoring evaporation and ground absorption).

Calculations:
River Volume (half-cylinder):
V = (π * r² * L) / 2
V = (π * (1.5/2)² * 3.5) / 2
V ≈ 6.19 m³
Annual Tear Volume:
22.5 gallons ≈ 85.17 liters = 0.08517 m³
Time to Fill the River:
T = River Volume / Annual Tear Volume
T = 6.19 m³ / 0.08517 m³/year
T ≈ 72.68 years

Here are some lift buttons at my local shops, and I really don’t like them…

My approach for @AProblemSquared question on displaying enamel pins. I use IKEA trivets as cup holders, which I adorn with my collection around the border, including @standupmaths’s pin. 📌

Couldn't resist opening excel and giving it a go myself, managed to come up with this solution. It has a weird half step, but the rest of the steps are symmetrical and thus could be used both ways.

I just found out via @standupmaths and @AProblemSquared that on my birthday next year, I will be turning the square root of the year! A very rare event indeed!

That joke in the beginning about going from friends to podcast hosts to acquaintances reminded me of a great song about time running backwards as the universe collapses. open.spotify.com/track/3WEnG… “We’ll part as happy strangers from a long friendship that grew from such a love”

We're doing it on a bit of a whim when @bechillcomedian and I realised we'd both be in town and @FlappersComedy happen to have a window free. Please do come and validate our reckless decision.

@AProblemSquared re: hot chocolate
1. Don't use a spoon; use a fork.
2. Stay with water in the cup and slowly dust the powder in while continually stirring. Slower = better.
Done.

Hi .@AProblemSquared , I've just started listening to your back catalogue, and loving it so far!
In episode 3 you mentioned ISO has ruled on the definition of when a decade starts and ends. Do you have a link to that? I have some pedants I wanna annoy 🤣 Cheers!

I think flying in a fart-inflated suit will be as hard on any planet with atmosphere as it is on earth regardless of the value of the g constant. i did some physics.
