Last stop before I start heading home 🏠. Visited the agricultural area in Kaohsiung. Learned about how their growers 🧑🌾association works, a very interesting way of growing papaya under screen-houses, visited guava plantings and tasted the #papaya, #mango, and #passionfruit cultivars developed by their 👨🔬 . Great way to close the month-length visit to #Taiwan

Yesterday was #dragonfruit #pitaya #pitahaya day! We toured several farms, most of them very well managed. We still were able to find some pest and diseases 👇🏻 including snail 🐌 damage on fruit and wet rot disease.
